WD 40 has some water proof spray gel that would last way longer than regular WD 40 also

Hey man I never thought I would give you any advice you know ten thousand percent more than me but I do a lot of remodeling and now have gotten into a lot of tile work. But the answer is silicone spray!! WD-40 at tracks particulates silicone spray won't also silicone spray will last a lot longer WD-40 dries silicone spray doesn't it's what was suggested for sticky old sliding glass doors. That's how I learned the trick

What brand? WD, Dupont, 3M? They all say "Professional" but are they all the same?

Yes, I hit the window seals on the truck with a little on a rag. Cleans em and you can tell the windows go up a lot smoother. Bet its easier on the motor too. Good stuff.

I bought this saw after your first review. I put a brand new rtc rock star blade on😅 it to cut porcelain tile. It chipped the tile really bad. Tried a Hot Dog blade & the kobalt blade . The same results. Would have only been able to use the cuts for perimeter cuts on a floor. Can use a snap cutter for that. Wasted my $300.

This looks like exactly what I need ! I really wish they would have went with the 40V line with this which can be found in the mower/trimmer line of tools from Kobalt. Seems like a no brainer to me and you could get a lot more cuts with a single battery ! They also should have made it to where you can also plug in and then would have destroyed the market on this !

I bought the saw because of your first video, thanks for the great review. My only problem is, I’m cutting porcelain tile and the corners seem to chip out at the end of the cut. I’ve tried taping the tile but have had no luck. I went and bought the kobalt porcelain blade didn’t help much. Got any tips or suggestions? Thanks for all the videos.

I have the same issue every tile breaks at the end of the cut. Is the table supposed to be flat cause mine was not flat not even close. I checked the riving knife too it was good. I took the saw back to Lowe’s.

I love the Kobalt cordless saw. I use white lithium grease for the rails. Seems to last longer, lubricated versus WD-40. Thanks again for another awesome video. thanks again for sharing your knowledge with us we do appreciate you. “FLIP”

I just tried the electric version of this saw on remodel shower. It does chip every tile almost. I did replace the blade with a new rubi and made no difference. I can’t have chipped tile and will be returning the saw probably. Today I am going to set up my bigger saw in the customers driveway and walk up and down the stairs to make cuts rather than struggling with this saw. I give it two stars. Thanks for the video always appreciated and very professional

The water containment is fabulous! Unless cutting large size tiles that will not fit on table then you have to be creative. But all and all I think its simplicity makes it a great tool.

Thanks for the tool review. Just purchased this saw for a shower gig using 12x24 porcelain tiles. Small bathroom shower on a 3rd floor townhouse. This saw was perfect for the job. It did chip on a few cuts but I was using the Kobalt Porcelain Blade and once I slowed my roll it worked well. Will be switching out the blade one the next job. That 8 hour battery was on sale so I snagged it for the win. Also snagged one of those sweet tees.
