+James M. Growing up in Portland as a Blazers fan, I completely empathize with you. Nonetheless, we must lament that Kobe is forever enshrined as a permanent basketball legend. On the other hand, WE (meaning us Blazers here in Portland) MISSED an opportunity to recruit MJ (Bulls had the third pick, we had the second). That mark we have to live with.
@moremusic998 жыл бұрын
jamesdragonforce In regards to the PTB making that historic mistake, it always boggles my mind when I think how just a few people who were placed in a power position can decide, for good or for worse, the future of a franchise, and consecutively, the emotional roller coaster of its fans, for many years to come. We (I mean the Sixers) have also made some huge mistakes, not MJ-scale but still... For instance in 2010 we drafted Evan Turner over DaMarcus Cousins and Paul George!!

like him or not, hate him or not, admit it, it was one thing for any player in this league almost impossible to equal. and he is one of the best player in NBA history, at least top 10 . the player that can bring his team to win the champ' by himself . 81 pts in this modern era? insane

at what point did he win a championship by himself? Is there a non shaq/gasol ring I've never seen before?
@lazark60545 жыл бұрын
@@rondo9pgdw no shit he didn't win championships by himself, it's a figure of speech. The 2 rings he won he was the most important player on the court in every game except game 7 2010

I came to pay tribute. Completely unbelievable! He broke his own 67 point record. Then he made 3rd place at 77 points. Then broke Wilt Chamberlains 2nd spot of 78 points! He was incredible. Rest in peace dear Kobe and Gigi

It seems that everybody returns to this video after Kobe's tragic passing. He himself is a representation of hard work and perseverance! He inspires so many people around the world, even my GRAMMA knows his name. He dominates on both ends of the court. Not so many player could do that! Phil Jackson once said that Kobe has surpassed Jordan in terms of hardworking. Even during summer break, he sticks to the schedule he has set for himself when it is during regular season, training himself six days a week with super intense stuff. My first ever official college English presentation was about Kobe. About his dedication to the job he loves so much. About his attitude. He said he always "pushed himself to exhaustion". Your spirit will live on and be passed on by the multitudes who are impacted by your mentality and legacy. love you forever. RIP 8&24~

81 points! I mean, not 40, hell not 50, which happens once in a while, but 81, 19 points away from Chamberlain's romantic time record. I still can't believe today he did that. Those people in the arena were very fortunate to see a thing like this. Kobe's one of a kind.
