I had a fever that day so I called out of work, I was 21 at the time, I remember putting the game on, but fell asleep on the couch because I was not feeling well. I remember sitting up, and taking notice half way there the 3rd quarter, it was unbelievable, what an inspiration, so happy I was sick that day. RIP mamba Gigi

Interesting thing is he had small hands and not crazy hops(for a basketball player). But he was long. And he worked hard at his game. So I’d say some of it was him :) Jordan had that god blessed hops and huge hands (I think still one of largest hands in nba history and best vert still to this day at combines )

I remember that. In the second half clips, if you look at the basket, you can see me sitting there behind the Raptors bench with the white cap clapping after every shot. That seat was a gift from my Lakers season ticket holder rep. Incredibly lucky that she upgraded my seat on that particular night.

its crazy how, weve had his passing, memorial, HOF speech without him, but for whatever reason this statue of him really has the feeling of finally seeing the last of Kobe immortilazation for one last time..theres no bigger or better honor for him as a player that is left, the last minute of this video with the music had me crying, not teary eyed, but crying. im 34 years old and have basically been a vivid Kobe fan all my life. I would wake up 3 o'clock am, to go to the sitting room. My wife would follow me to complaing and shout to go back to bed, then She would understand I definitely had to watch my team play. Kobe was an inspiration. I would stay all night watching then go to work at 6 in the morning. It was crazy watching Mamba play every single night
