Definitely very heartbreaking for us who are on lookers, but it’s so much more for this team of girls, they lost their teammate, friend, and also lost a coach/father figure for these girls, someone who really believed in them and his goal was to bring out the best in each one of them and teach them the fundamentals of life goals and how to navigate all of that! Heartbreaking and still in awe, loosing not two lives, but nine is difficult to put into words. Indeed, we lost an incredible legend, his beautiful Gigi, and a family of three, two coaches, and pilot, what a travesty! The Globe will be in mourning for a long time. Seeing him earlier at Staples and interacting with him was the norm, he was approachable, loved by everyone! Kobe, Gianna, and the seven other beautiful souls, Rest In Peace!
