He wasn't as versatile as Jordan but he didn't need to be when you look at his short comings as far as his size and that's what made him incredible that he was torching dudes at barely 6 feet tall and only 165Ibs. I followed AI as a kid from Georgetown playing with Victor Page to his NBA debut. AI is one of best players I've ever seen. Man I wish his team would have got one ring. Of course the NBA made sure that would not happen. Man I miss those days. Jordan, Kobe, Allen Iverson, Shaq all in the league at the same time.

John Smith he never learned to play team ball. He ran jerry Stackhouse outta town. Who before iverson was the leading scorer on the sixers. Iverson wanted all that shine and didn’t want to share it. Trynna Street ball his way though the nba. I’m glad Larry Brown won with a team that bought into his style and iverson ended up being an underachiever. Shit iverson couldn’t get out of the first round with Carmelo and billuos took his place and they ended in the wcf. I rather take leadership and basketball IQ, than talent and flash

Video Technology has advanced so much in the past 2 decades that this clip from 99 looks like a VHS tape in the 80s.

Bryant Johnson this was most likely transferred from a VHS, anybody who owns the master tapes (not VHS) could get this footage remastered and released in HD.

The best player in my eyes. Imagine this guy, with the same casts as lakers. Too bad Philly never invested in AI.
