Kobe doing what Kobe does best...Dunking. It amazes me how high he gets and spinning on his dunks. No one does it better. He was great at getting the crowd up on their feet and the excitement in watching him play. You just never know and even if you did, you could never stop him. 💜💛🐐💛💜

One of the best highlights, thank you. I cried as a 5 years old kid, specially seeing him with number 8. I grew up imitating those moves, often with rolled socks dunking on doors or 3 point fade-aways on any circular object, with my mother shouting "stop it!!!". I never compared him with others for me he was the special one, the best athletic machine.

I think almost all of us forgot about how good of a dunker Kobe was in the first decade of his career. Going off one foot or two, jumping off the right leg, windmills from anywhere, 360s with a guy right on him! I'm not saying he's the best dunker ever, but he's probably the most versatile dunker of all time. Also, the dude dunked on 95% of the league!!!

No one has done it to this day. He was talking shit to AI like nothing was gonna happen, then they gave him the alley signal, ran like a flash and proceeded to 360 dunk the ball with no angle right on the basket, with his head almost having to bend around the rim and his lower body doing some impossible acrobatic pose. The cover of 2K21 was that dunk and you saw the pose and though nah this is not real they made it up for the game. No they didn't.

Kobe was just a great as MJ. The media loved MJ and hated Kobe, therefore Kobe was robbed of several league MVP awards. Kobe had a 20 year career but due to injuries played about 15 full seasons. Kobe in his prime was ultra athletic.

He was drafted right after MJ came back in 95, and perceived as another MJ copy, Harold Miner type, he was young and to talented, many preceived him as cocky, he was crucified by the media adter the airballs, Shaq tried to turn L.A, teammates, and the league against him by calling him selfish, he was accused of rape and the league couldn't market him to white America who were the major consumers, he snitched on Shaq, and after all that LeBron was drated during the scandle and anointed the premature king of the league. These are the things that unfortunately overshadowed his greatness as a player for most people, and why i believe he may never get the credit he's earned as one of the greatest ever.

When it came to dunks, I've never seen another player do so many different types of in-game dunks with so much variety. Windmills, Tomahawks, Double-Pump Reverses, Baseline Reverses, Behind the Back Reverse, 360's, and on and on... It's funny because I hated this man for half his career, but then I finally couldn't deny his talent, and then he became one of my favorite players next to MJ. Kobe can jump high back in his early years. Kobe listed at 38 vertical but I think it should be around 42 or 43 vertical. Kobe's dunk are difficult to do.
