What i admire about Kobe is his hard work, determination, mental toughness, tolerance for pain, sheer will, and heart over ALL ELSE. His basketball skills are amazing, but his MAMBA MENTALITY is more impressive.

This "all the smoke show" is one if the best things I've watched in awhile. I also like Lebron's show, "The Shop." I love seeing and hearing about the raw emotions and behind the scenes drama. Most of the time these athletes gotta put on a show or say sum b.s. so they can keep their job, remain professional, etc. But when they are done and they release the "tell-all," I love that man.

Kobe was the greatest basketball player second to Jordan. We all know that. People try to take that away from Kobe because he had Shaq on his younger days but Kobe was still getting his and helped Shaq get to where he was as a dominant force. No one wanted parts of Kobe when he was Mamba. He’ll be lighting basketball nets on fire. Glad to see these guys give Kobe the respect he deserves.

That Shaq argument is dumb because Shaq would only have won the 2001 title in LA without Kobe. Without Kobe the Lakers wouldn’t have gotten out of the western conference. 2000 WCF game 7 Kobe outplayed Shaq and while Shaq might be the highlight of it, Kobe’s the one that crossed Scottie out of camera frame and passed for their famous alley oop. Without Kobe Portland wins that game. 2002 WCF game 7 Shaq and Kobe both had 30 pieces and they still only beat the Kings by 4. Without Kobe, Sacramento would have went to the Finals.

I could hear these niggas talk all day. Smart, mature, collective and humble. Giving props to one of the greatest. And understand both these dudes were very good players in the NBA. and its insanely hard to make a team and actually have a professional career. So for them to tell they story about Kobe shows how good he was.

I've seen both Kobe and MJ play. Kobe definitely had more moves and skills than MJ, no question about it. The difference between Kobe and MJ is decision making. MJ would generally take the higher percentage shot to show the other team "I can get easy buckets and there's nothing you can do to stop me". Kobe would take the higher degree of difficulty shot at times as a way to say "You can't stop me no matter what I do".
