It was a great game, i made the mistake in the third game to not animate my factories he was on 6 Life and i had 2 mana open so together with the trisk enough for 8 damage

Great games indeed! 👍
@JakeKbass5 жыл бұрын
You could also have Animated factories pumped them to 3/3 and used the sword for six dmg two turns before. But hey. You won.👐 Loved this match

I've got an old school kobold deck that I love playing with. Problem is, that it rarely ever wins
@TimmytheSorcerer5 жыл бұрын
It’s not the easiest route to victory, but great to see a player taking the time and energy to brew, build and bring it to a tournament. I do believe he won some games btw 😊

What beautiful decks, both are among my favorites in OS.

but my buddy and I play (budget)old school every week. His Kobold deck is his fav, so this was great to watch. Wow, that sword can do some work!
@TimmytheSorcerer5 жыл бұрын
The great thing about the sword 🗡 is that once it untaps, you can use it at any time. 👍

There are some strange misplays, unless there is something I don't get. In game one the tron player randomly untaps his basalt monolith in the kobold players end step. The uses it to untap the colossus. In game three when the kobold player is at 6 life, why not just animate the 2 factories, let them pump themselves and then swords them? Afraid of bolt? Anyway when the trisk is played, you could still just use the last 2 mana to animate the factories, swords them and shoot a trisk counter for the last damage. I see no reason to say go.

But great decks!

Hi Emil, these games go at double speed so it’s sometimes difficult to follow. Do you have some time stamps? Curious now 🤓
@koendertruifrok5675 жыл бұрын
At 9.52 i mentioned to the player that i will spend 3 and untap the monolith. Indeed last game was a huge misplay and could have ended the game a prins earlier
@TimmytheSorcerer5 жыл бұрын
Thanks for clearing that up 👍 We all make misplays btw, I never realized how many until I started recording my own matches. It’s great to think that I can win more games not by buying that ‘one’ card, but just by improving my game.

@@TimmytheSorcerer I saw something that wasn't there about the monolith. Sorry. But yes we all make mistakes. I am very happy my games are not recorded :) Thanks for sharing great matches and awesome decks!

Thank you for posting this match, Timmy. I love the Tron decks, especially with Colossus/Sword!

This is one of my favorite matches. Great close match where both decks get their chance to shine ✨

A great match! Going to play my own Kobolds deck in ODOL next week. :) It's such a shame that Rohgahh of Kher Keep only gives Kobolds of Kher Keep +2+2, it doesn't make much sense. Also, his upkeep is RRR whereas he himself doesn't even have RRR in his mana cost, only RR. This is the epitome of the randomness in Legends :)

Great Video again Timmy thanks. There should be a prize for „most creative or most flavourful“ decks in tournaments as well. Obviously there are way more efficient ways to win a competitive game than entering the ring with a kobold deck, so yes I think this needs to be honoured more.

Hey, I really enjoy your content. I noticed that sometimes when you show the cards (especially creatures) one can´t see the power and toughness at the bottom of the card because they are cropped by the frame. Would be really nice to see the whole card while you explain. Keep up the good work! Cheers.
@TimmytheSorcerer5 жыл бұрын
Hi David, thanks for the feedback. I’ll see if I can fix the frames in future episodes 👍
