Kobolds vs Zombies | Old School Magic the Gathering 93/94 |

Time for a good old fashioned MTG TRIBAL SHOWDOWN in today's Timmy Talks episode. We have the powerful Zombie Disco coming to party, but they will first have to deal with the Kobolds that are crashing the party! Will the undead kick out all those cheap Kobolds or will they take over the club supported by powerful Magic the Gathering burn spells.

Love the kobolds. I've been playing a legacy tribal kobold deck with meekstones and winter orbs in the sideboard, so I can switch to kobold control when they're not expecting it. Seems like it would be a fun trick in old school with orcas oriflamme too.

What about adding 1 or 2 Ashnod’s Alters to the Kobold deck. You can do a big swing then a big burn on the same turn, and if it doesn’t work then Balance afterwards. Keldon Warlord maybe?

I actually thought a Playset of Balance would be insane in the Kobold deck...making someone dump their hand would be way better than Righteousness!

The cards from this era certainly have some of the absolute best art in MTG history. They also have cards that are so unequivocally ugly that it boggles the mind that someone got payed for drawing them.
