This made my day. Make that: made my year! I am a fan of this particular Kodak camera - I own six of them, including a Bulls-Eye Special. I've been patently getting them into shape and will be putting them back to work this year. Finger scrossed and yes, I'm now subscribed. No - thank YOU!

Great video, really interesting to see the images that can be produced by these beautiful machines, thanks for sharing.

I have one of these and it takes fantastic photos (even better than the ones in this video). I had to remanufacture a few parts for it, but now it works like new.

I agree that these are very capable cameras. Mine unfortunately has light leaks that causes flares and diminishes the quality of photos

A very interesting and well made video, thanks. Do you know what the shutter speed and aperture settings are for this camera?
@krisb87813 жыл бұрын
Hi, The shutter speed would be close to 1/50 or 1/30 and aperture of f/16 to f32 or f/45 on the base model. On the Special the aperture ranges from f/4 up to f/128 but the shutter speed is still around 1/50.

@@krisb8781 Thanks for the info. I plan on using mine and have purchased the 101 to 120 spool adapters. What film speed did you end up using? Thanks again.
@krisb87813 жыл бұрын
@@jordanjt229 Hi. I used ISO 100 film and compensated with aperture since the shutter speed is constant.

Thank you for this wildly interesting camera video. I'm a fan of the higher end box cameras... How do you get your photos to show in your videos? Subscribed. Jason Edit: kodak used 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, 128 as the American system for aperture They correspond as follows 4 = 8 8 = 11 16 = 16 32 = 22 64 = 32 128 = 45 Numbers on left are on the Kodak system, numbers on right are traditional f stops.

How many frames did you get with 120 film?....did you count key turns to advance the film and if so how many times?.....thank you.....I am getting ready to shoot my 1898 no2 bullies eye
@krisb87813 жыл бұрын
Hi i would get 7-8 frames. I used test roll to get the amount of turns and based on that i got rough idea of how far to advance.
