The reason why the Dyson upright can pick up so much leftover dirt is because the DC39 was already overflowing halfway through your test. plus, the turbinehead was all jammed up with hair and shit, of course it left stuff behind.

I wonder what the outcome would be if this test was done the other way round, the DC40 first then the DC39

Great video. And you seriously need to stahp w/ the multifloor already. I already own 3 vacuums. Don't make me run out & buy another! Lol. Said it before & will say it again, love your grandma! Will she ever be making an appearance to give her opinions on the vacs? Also, I am interested to see how you get your canister so clean. You always say you "cleaned it out w: the rainbow." Although I don't own one, I still can't imagine how you do this & get it looking spotless. As always, keep up the great work. Hugs.

Your big mess tests are very good i like the amount of dirt that you put down. Don't change that. You should try the dyson dc47 canister vacuum it has what i think is the best turbine head for a dyson. it has stiff brushes like the ball multi floor and carbon fiber brushes

Yeah wall to wall carpet, and I also have hard floor, my carpet is similar to your carpet from this video, the beige one, thanks for your respond, I really appreciate it!!!

The dc39 would be a great choice. It does a better job of deep cleaning the carpet then the cinetic. The Cinetics brush bar is too soft to deep clean carpet. Overall the DC 39 would be a better choice. I hope I was able to help. :)

It seems like you had a lot of problems with this one. Are the brushes on this smaller than the others it just looks to me that they were smaller than the brushes on the animal canister

what type of flooring or carpeting are you cleaning? do you have wall-to-wall carpeting? is it low or high pile carpeting. what kind of hard flooring is it? I have to know this before I can say LOL

Not true, while some direct air machines are difficult to clog, they can still be clogged. Others, especially Orecks can be clogged rather easily.
