Hey Kody! Thanks for reminding folks to clean up their world around them. I am sure with a cheap set of ABEC 7's or so that board would have been much better, it is as you said a 15-dollar board. One of my longboards has the Sunset LED wheels. They sure look neat at night, but each wheel is a mini generator to power up the LED's, and the drag is very noticeable. Thank you for posting your down to Earth clips. As always the sounds are fun!

I was planning to get a new board this year, since my last one was the equivalent of walmart boards, only worse. I was initially gonna go with Globe's goodstock skateboard because of Tensor trucks and a slick deck, but my family members decided to surprise me with a Tony Hawk 540 signature series on my birthday. I couldn't really bring myself to tell them that TH skateboards were notorious for their low quality because they only meant good by it. Besides, I found out that the shop wouldn't offer a refund, so I am kinda stuck with it now. I am considering getting new bearings at least. Talk about fate... Do you think it's gonna be fine for cruising around if I just change the bearings? I want to change the wheels too, but I am not sure whether trucks play a decisive factor here.

Wheels and bearings will be your biggest problem with a cheap board. The trucks as long as they are not plastic will hold up alright.

Found one in the trash. Changed out the bushings, bearings and wheels with quality ones that have been replaced with better in my own boards. Its a fact all thats gotta go by the time you upgrade it to make it ridable youve spent 50 dollars or more. After that it turned out decent. Took it to a park to try it out. Dropped in on a 5ft half and a 3 ft quarter and most of the obstacles there and all is still good so far. I had to replace everything that matters on this thing to make it righteous only the deck and the aluminum parts of the trucks remain. I used old parts to upgrade so this one didn't cost me anything. After seeing the quality in the hardware I'd never pay for one of these. Your better of getting a 40 or 50 dollar board for a beginner.

Well new wheels & bearings are gonna cost twice as much as the board. Wheels $30 bearings $20. I recommend taking the board back n getting a more expensive one. I only rode the board for this video.

I had one of those... I bought wheels with bones Red's and was more decent but it didn't turn properly, eventually i bought trucks and it changed the whole board, but the wood was still cranking, eventually i bought a real birdhouse tony hawk board, later i found out... Those boards have a weight limit of like 120 lbs, it's in the label's, and the bearings suck because it's for beginner's to not kill them self, so ironically it is for beginner's...

Anything would be an upgrade for this board. It’s Chinese maple (pro boards are Canadian maple which are more durable). These are also the lowest quality bearings and wheels you’ll find. The trucks are metal at least

I have that board. I modified it with new wheels and bearings. The trucks are perfectly fine as they are high quality metal. I even added the spacers. It’s a fine board after modifying it. It rides just fine and can get around the skatepark just fine.

I wouldn’t. There’s nothing on this board you’d wanna keep except maybe the trucks if you’re starting out. But you can buy “Core” trucks for the same price as this board. They’re decent entry level pro style trucks. Maybe try piecing together the rest with someones old wheels/bearings and deck. They’d still be better than this junk

My in-laws bought this board for my kid. Put some super reds bearings (didn't help). Was going to swap out trucks with my 20 year old independents. Hole pattern does not match up 😤. I remember my second board was Tony Hawk bones brigade chicken head. That was when you had to build it at the skate shop. I am pretty disappointed even for a beginner board. Up the price by 40 bucks and let the kids have fun.

unfortunately your daughter would be very disappointed in that board, its so bad of a board that it’s dangerous. It stops you from rolling which promotes frequent falling and the board is like a toothpick which means its too easy to snap

so i bought the tony hawk board like a few months ago and with the wheels it had,,,it honestly sucked since i was always behind my friend who was SOOOO ahead of me and i would get so tired and then one of my friends put new wheels on it and it went way more faster but it super wiggly and today i got my new board just the board itself and im using the wheels my friend gave me since they are really good and i didn’t take all the plastic off and im having trouble take the screws off from the bottom and i think it’s from the plastic 🤦🏾‍♀️

Best option after comparing getting Amazon boards vs Amazon board videos is it really is best to just going on Amazon I've seen people cracking and breaking them to but at least they do work better then a Walmart board you can get a complete board by element for a good price surprisingly not that high at all considering it's by element but it's also one of the older designs the one that says wind water fire and earth and you can get ot for 66

Maybe this is a bad scateboard but everyone has different opinions for example you are a more like a pro scater so we know you won't like it and it's not the best board but it works for beginners so they learn their balance and have fun.

That is true. maybe someone wants a skateboard that doesn't roll. From my personal opinion it's a waste of money when a board that is 1000 times better for only $10 more is hanging right next to it.

A couple summers ago i bought a wal mart skateboard and had it for about not even 2 weeks might have been a week and the skateboard broke haha a week later I bought a professional board and now seeing people skate wal mart boards scares me lol

This was one of my first boards ever and the bearings were so trash I would fall off of it every time because it would stop super fast 💀

I have one... I put my Indy's in it with bones wheels, totally change the game but still, that 9ply board down not compare to the Canadian maple 7ply

@@KodyWalker i don't recommended either, i got it as my first board, realized it sucked, so i went to a skate shop and told me what was wrong... The whole thing lol , so i ended up buying a birdhouse with real trucks and all, then after adding months of practicing, decided to put Indy's on that Walmart board, i was able to skate it but it's not the same, it's good for rainy days though for that i do recommended lol
