Dude hearing how your depression/anxiety dictates weather you go to the skate events or not honestly makes me feel amazing. Glad we all have our days that we just can't handle certain situations we're not obligated to be at but honestly would like to attend. I wish I had more will to skate alone when I'm having off days

Haven’t watched you in years my man. You were my hero when I was 15-16 every day I was watching your videos until I fell off. When I was 18 my anxiety and depression became a monster for me, and it dictated 18-21 and even sometimes now. But it’s crazy to see you’re still pumping videos and you deal with anxiety like I do. Love you dog keep it up

I haven't been watching you since i stopped skating towards the end of high school and started going through my own my things (depression, adulthood, life). I slowly stoped doing the things i loved and you've made me realize its never to late to pick stuff back up again. You still inspire me and i had forgotten how amazing and motivated you'd make me feel after the end of every video you put out. I'll try my best to start going out and enjoy things on my own. I've watched you since i started going into high school and its been 3 years since i graduated. It feels like i'm reconnecting with an old friend. I've missed you

if you notice weird cuts in the vid, i got a lot of comments saying a few things i was showing in the video could come back to bite me in the ass so i took them out. they weren't bad or politically incorrect, lol, just some street mission shiz that COULD technically be used against me, but most likely wouldn't.

Really interesting perspective when I thought about the fact that you ride pretty middle of the pack stuff normally… like the wheels form forces you ride aren’t bad but not top tier compared to the more expensive formula 4s from spitfire that almost never flat spot and the bearing you ride are average but I don’t think you ever grab the stupid expensive $60 Swiss bearings and the grip you ride is average but mob/grizz is super sticky. Lastly they sell the boards with the carbon fiber layer. I guess it’s a good representation of how going top end vs average isn’t too noticeable when skating but going cheap vs average is almost always a bad idea.

I literally bought that same deck 1 month ago because mine got stolen. Had it for 5 days and only got to skate the first day because the next 3 days it rained constantly. Day 5 came and its stopped raining long enough for the ground to dry around the corner from my apartments and just as soon as I was satisfied with a 10 minute flatground session with 25 feet of space, my last trick was to Nollie BS Shuvit. As soon as I landed, wood splinters went everywhere and my ears were ringing. Couldn't skate for 3 1/2 weeks due to the nose and middle snapping. Got an immediate refund which is the only plus and now I have a new shelf made from a skate deck. Now I'm scared that'll break too lol

Thanks for featuring the restaurant, I'll have to keep it in mind next time. When I get the opportunity, I have to go through Dallas and stop at Nuno's Tacos & Vegmex. Ate there once and it became an instant favorite. Another favorite is Vegan Nom in Austin, TX. Let me know if you ever need restaurant suggestions for MN and WI.

When I was skating back when I was 10-20 (im 33 now) I could never skate when other people who skated were around. I could skate stairs, do tre flips and lots of advanced tricks, but when I skated with other people I felt so trash and embarrassed and it made me so anxious. I wish I could go back and be more confident with my skating.

John you said about maybe or maybe not going to the skate thing while you were eating your tacos, based on how your mental is. Its astonishing how alone a person can feel and someone who doesn't even know him says something like that and its like I am not alone in that kind of feeling. Today was an exceptionally bad mental health day but that one sentence said helped move some of them thoughts. Thanks

That’s just barely $20 cheaper than a badass Iron Maiden deck complete I bought at a local shop a few weeks ago and doesn’t compete and you had to assemble it yourself. I’m less and less convinced in 2022 that Amazon is the economical choice anymore. I think the pandemic made em greedy af.

One thing i like about Dallas is it is not covered in graffiti. It's not clever, and it is causing your community to degress everyday.
