Koenigsegg became the Fastest Car of 2024 | New 0-400 km/h World Record | Koenigsegg Jesko Absolut

Koenigsegg just broke the 0-400 km/h world record, AGAIN. The new Koenigsegg Jesko Absolut became the fastest car redeeming the Koenigsegg name once again. The Koenigsegg vs Bugatti battle for the 0 - 400 world record was legendary. The title was first claimed by the Bugatti Chiron in 2017. This title was stolen by the Koenigsegg Regera 2019. In 2023 The All-Electric Super Car, Rimac Navera broke this record along with 22 others. The new Jesko Absolut redeemed the Koenigsegg name and became the fastest car of 2024 and an all-time record holder.

Christian Königsegg is probably the most ingenious car designer. With his relatively small team, he creates fast and agile cars that surpass the performance of all other 'hypercar' manufacturers such as Bugatti (too heavy), Ferrari, Lamborghini, Aston Martin, etc. I'm excited to see whether Red Bull can keep up with the recently introduced RB17.

Besides the insane engineering by Koenigsigg, the company is very aware of having tires that can withstand the abuse. I’m sure once Michelin makes a tire capable of doing 0-300mph-0 and to 350, Koenigsiggwill dominate

I’m astonished about the jesko absolute when compared to the Chiron super sport. The jesko does 9.7 sec to the 1/4 mile while the Chiron ss 300 does 9.1 sec. Dispite all that the jesko is literally almost a full sec and a half quicker to 250 mph. Chiron ss 300 does 19.7 sec and is awd will the jesko did 18.8 sec it’s insane for a rwd car.it’s lighter has the same hp as well

I was a little confused when it said "0 - 250 - 0 (402 kph)" in "28.27 Seconds" and "0 -250- 0 mph" in "19.2 Seconds", they are both the same but one says 28.27 Seconds and the other says 19.2 Seconds. I take it the 28.27 is the full run.

They write it wrong :) 0-250-0 takes the long time, the 0-400-0 take less time, they just typer 250 both times :)

No offence but who has ever judged 0-400-0. The only reason they even made up that stat was because they Have no chance in acceleration tests which the whole automotive world revolves around. Why don’t you try for 1/4 mile record. Oh that’s right because they have no chance.

​@phase3ute Bugatti did a big thing of it when they got 42s with the Chiron. Then Koenigsegg took an old car and beat them with 6s. (Then Koenigsegg beat them self with 5s) Then came Rimac and beat that car with 1s. And now Hennessey tried to break that new record when they crashed a few weeks ago. If 4 different manufacturers use it to measure speed then why not?

Bugatti still did it with a modified car, not a customer car. In comparison - a modified Ford GT did 300 mph more than 10 years back lol. Koenigsegg still has the official record - and will break it again with a customer car. Stop hating. :)

Let me educate you Bugatti uses a Supersport model of their lineup to break records, they started with a veyron Supersport then 4years ago was a chiron Supersport 300+, from the chiron lineup theres the standard chiron which they used with only 1498bhp to break this record your friend Christian is chasing here then they used a Supersport model which has more power than a standard chiron to break the 300+ barrier Bugattis are all standard but different models like Divo, bolide, etc.

This was first ever pre production Chiron SuperSport a improvement over a Chiron in 2019 they set the Record as well A standard Chiron is capable of reaching 290 mph but it has speed limiter at 261 mph without speed limiter it can go 290+ mph And in 2020 they made 30 units of Chiron SS 300+ they all can do 310+ mph In 2021-23 they made 50+ Chiron Super Sport units with speed limiter at 273 mph soft Limiter on exhaust emissions regulations etc Those cars are heavily restricted Without speed limiter they all can still hit 300 mph I have seen many 2021 Chiron SS units are slower than a standard Chiron So the 2021 Chiron SS acceleration is heavily restricted and they struggle to reach 238 mph or struggling to reach 251 mph I don't know why The 30 units 2020 Chiron SS 300+ are fastest One of them smoked the koenigsegg Regera by huge margin Chiron SS gave Regera 3 seconds headstart Chiron SS still smoked Regera caught it came past it Chiron SS did a flyby on Regera On top of that Chiron SS kept on pulling away Chiron SS 300+ had worst driver and worst launch I have ever seen Still Chiron SS smoked Regera This is not even close In a actual drag race Chiron SS 300+ are much faster than Regera or Jesko absolut Even at 2 mile drag race Chiron SS will beat Jesko absolut Chiron SS wins at 1/4 mile 1/2 mile and 1 mile by default
