@@jonstewart9892 Yea the stability is on point for sure, but he isn't keeping the hands off the steering wheel to not break his thumbs in an accident. He could easily get a good grip without his thumbs tucked into the wheel. The reason he does it is because the restoring torque of the wheels will always keep the car driving in a perfectly straight line when no force is applied to the steering wheel (at least when theres no side wind and on a flat runway). So it's actually the safest and most stable way to do this run if he aligns the car at the start and then just makes really small corrections with little force aplied to the steering wheel.
