How do you do dp into qcb hcf motions?

instead of doing DP with the traditional input, you do it by going hcb>F+ button. That way your qcb is buffered and you only need to input hcf + button to cancel the DP into qcb>hcf motion supers

The problem with this shorcut is that for some reason some times its just doesn't work. It can be the input lag but I'm not sure about what I'm missing.

sometime the game gets really lenient and will give you a DP Motion for a right>left>right input. and if so, the half-circle back motion won't be buffered

one of the main issues I've found is that the game can be too lenient on the half-circle back motion. Make sure your half-circle back is precise because the game will still register the DP shortcut even if it isn't "clean" (ex: if your input ends in down-back instead of back) and the motion won"t be buffered for power geyser. additionaly theres a way to give you more time to input the move. Using Lk power charge, you can input the motion while power charge is active since it can be cancelled into rising tackle

All this is fine, of course, but why doesn't it work? Let's say I do some kind of trick with qcf, I want to cancel a qcf semicircle back in qcf and make a qcf kick and immediately a semicircle, but it does not canceling

@@thefgcsensei4482 blue mary can cancel 623 LK into qcf hcb lp, but if i do like that, it won't work, the imput need to be fast. If i try to do after 623 lk hbc it doesn't work either. Don't know what to do

I play on Xbox and for some reason the input shortcut only work sometimes

I can't tell for Xbox, but on ps5 the input buffer is significant enough to offset your inputs some time. The game is also lenient on DP input that sometimes the game wont register the half-circle back

@TheFGCscrub it's hard to find feedback on Xbox because it's only out on series x not Xbox one. And its to find ppl online 🙄

Question: Does this also apply to other characters like Rock and Blue Mary who also have DP inputs for their moves? Because I’ve seen that you can also cancel DP into supers when doing Rock and Blue Mary combos

Yes exactly, it applies to every tradition 623 or DP-motion inputs. most prominently for characters like Kyo and Terry since it lets them convert into extra supers.
