17:22, oil bath filters are probably more efficient than paper filters. It's a simple concept, heavier particles entering with the incoming air get trapped in the oil. Simple engine oil will work.

Just picked up basically the same generator. Mine is White branded engine. Hopefully have it powering my shop soon!

For those that have this generator, can you share what the wiring is for 120? (L1, l2, and l3 taps)

Omg!! A hole video about fumbling with jumper cables

Leave the oil bath filter on, it works well enough for the purpose, and the oil filter will help with keeping the inlet manifold corrosion free. Just wash it with kerosene, and replace the oil with SAE30 cheap monograde oil and it will be fine for a long time again. Jumper cables are junk, probably 4 gauge CCA wire inside, not real copper cable. Just needs to have the battery with a longer M8 bolt and 2 M8 fender washers, to grip the original battery clamp to use that battery, though long term you can just unbolt the terminals and crimp on a heavy M8 lug to the wires.

You FOUND this?!?! Where should I look??? Also, you struggling with the jumper cables on the spare battery frustrated me BECAUSE OF THE ACTUAL BATTERY CABLES RIGHT THERE!!! Oh, and what about part two?

Finding a transformer to convert the 208 to 120/240 will be expensive.
@0086265 жыл бұрын
No need, the generator has a neutral connection as well. Connect one phase to neutral for 120v or two phases for 208v. Pretty much all devices rated for 240v will run fine on 208v.

i had high hopes to watch this video, then the agony of watching a bunch of fumbling around with a simple battery hookup was a terrible waste of time
