Nice one Mark, can’t believe you’ve got your balls out again… 😂 But it’s for the best… 😊👍🏼 Yep, getting cold now, scary how a good volume of water has dropped temp so quickly.😮 We’ve had -4 deg.C for the last few nights, so it’s well setting in now… 🥶 Love seeing them at the feeding hatch.😊 Its surface area is similar to my pond. 🤣 Hope you are well mate….. 🤞🏼 👍🏼

@AndysKoiPuddle Hi mate, yeah I'm a little nervous this year as it's the first year that I have run the waterfall & back filters over winter. Since I stopped doing it because of rapid cooling & fish loss. So I'm just hoping that the way everything is covered over now stays in the safe zone. 🤞 I was stuck between a rock n a hard place as I was confident with the way I ran the system the last 3 years holding temperature. But more koi & bigger koi was just making hard work getting the system up and running again from scratch every spring. And we always want more & they always get bigger 🙄 never mind hopefully over the next few weeks I'll see it steady off and hold a steady ground temperature of around 5. I really should bugger off somewhere else. For someone that loves the sun n heat I live in a crappy location hahaha. Hope your well man 👍

@ HaHaHa….. yeah, I think we all need to bugger off to somewhere warm… ☀️ 😂 I’m sure given the size of your set up, and this year’s modifications, it will settle at a steady temp soon mate… 🤞🏼 But I hear what you are saying, that as the koi get bigger, it becomes harder to kick start the system in the spring. Yeah water temp, was holding above 12 last week, down to 6 degrees now
