The guy can never admit when things were so bad and cringe that he try’s to justify every action done on his server . Why XYZ happened and never fully addressing the core problems. He allows a bunch of ego man baby’s to have too much power and abuse it till their is drama for months on end . Then no one wants to play and deal with that trash . Fix your management and admins first and make sure it’s ran smoothly and THEN maybe 5.0 will be better.

Updates for sure had an impact, but so did making everything so overly complicated. Having no racing scene cause cars were too fragile and couldn’t be easily upgraded. Seemingly no PD early on and then mass hiring and no balance to crim and cop cars, plus no direction on how they wanted cops to behave. It was admirable to try to make all decisions in game, but things that impact the whole server needs management input to set the intended direction. It could be so much better, even with limited dev work imo

Server started off great…but when you have people like lord kebun create out of thin air the rp for 2 businesses that get shut down by who knows what or why you can ask yourself why would anyone want to even rp on this server that’s clearly meant for grinding mechanics

4.0 failed as everything was so slow to come out, they was civ rp for like 6 months, then slowly things come out. think would gone better if like did 2 months civ rp then drugs come out for 6 weeks, then maybe a new bank or 2 4weeks later. then boosting out with casino in 4 weeks. soon as people start getting bored something new for people to get their teeth in too

I always compared 4.0 with the way they built that new MRPD. It was huge, filled with rooms but convoluted AF. It was like a maze, nothing in it made much sense. Hallways leading into other hallways and rooms in between hallways. And the PD itself was a mess led by people who had no clue what to do. 4.0 as a whole was the same. Bunch of ideas thrown together in a rushjob. Nothing made sense and all the systems were convoluted and overly complicated for no reason. With NP management, just like PD management, also having no clue what they were doing. Its funny, when I commented how 4.0 was a rush job last year. You had Koil and fanboys saying I was waffling and that it was the best thing ever. When I commented on the trailer that it will most likely not look like that and that it even said that in fine print underneath I was told I was an ONYXX fanboy. It's funnier now in hindsight how much the public opinion has changed. 5.0 will fail too if NP carries on the direction it took since 3.0. It 100% will be a failure because the same management is in place and big streamers will keep getting special treatment and streamers in 2024 are inherently toxic (look at the weirdos in OTK, XQC, Destiny, Hasan, Kai, Adin Ross, there's always some drama or toxicity). So we'll see more drama unfold in 5.0. These people can't help themselves. They are all money hungry e-beggars, lets be real.

As a viewer, I like NP; for me, it’s the best server available on the market. However, 4.0 feels like a scam. 3.0 had far better game design. One of my ideas to enhance the game loop is to create specific PEDs and design a sheet similar to D&D, where each character has traits, a voice, appearance, etc. These special characters would then be lent to top-tier RP players on the server. These characters (PEDs) would have whitelist privileges they can pass on to "normal" players. (for exemple Batman, Joker or Superman in movies, many actors have played these characters and became famous for making them unique.) When a player decides they no longer want to play that character, the PED can be handed over to another RP player, who would pick up the story where it left off and continue the arc. This system would make it a privilege to play as these unique PEDs. Once someone is done with RP, admins could reassign the PED to a new player, allowing the server's story to continue seamlessly. This approach would increase player involvement in the game. It’s an example of game design rather than development work. Players should feel naturally motivated to play rather than feeling compelled by game mechanics to do so. Ideas ---> game design ---> dev work

Nopixel downgrade started in 3.0. 2.0 was where the golden age in terms of rich roleplay and much more exciting bits of content. 3.0 did start hopeful to get even better but it started flopping half way through. It was only superior in viewer numbers in 3.0 compared to 2.0. They didn’t learn from any mistakes on 3.0. Power hungry people were wrongly given power and management took far too long to sort out what’s best for rp. If nothing is done to shift the culture and give power to the right responsible people then 5.0 will be just as big of a fail as 4.0 is. Please get your act together nopixel

yea i dont get it, so many things from 3.0 never carried over. They constantly talked about devs working on things, then koil says here nothings been done in 6 months??? 4.0 has been out about a year.. so 4-6 months into it they gave up??? I can only assume the court case with DW was limiting them or something?? something doesnt add up or they simply just cant talk about it for legal reasons.

4.0 was bad because a woman traded sexual favors and photographs to enrich her career and gain control of the server and instead of stepping in when he needed to in order to protect the roleplay content on his server, Koil was buried in court cases. Now I can’t really blame him for the actions of someone else when it comes to court but not locking in to clean up that mess was a huge failing on Koil’s part.
