Hi All, thanks for watching again! With the lake fishing season coming up, I thought I should put this one up to warm things up. This was filmed in June 2018, I visited Deka and Hathaway Lake in the Cariboo Region. Who's excited about kokanee fishing?

Thanks for sharing. Fishing is hit and miss, no matter how good you are at it. Always great to get out. My wife and I nailed the kokanee on Hathaway lake, but I have never seen mosquitos as thick and aggressive in my life.

Hmmmm.... What should I do next week. Kokanee or chironomid bows or both? Maybe I'll take the family camping up there or somewhere if we don't go anywhere next week.

Most likely not. The lake is too big and the schools are not concentrated enough to have good results from jigging.
