In this game,you have to defeat the Bosses in 1 turn in order to get a Perfect Bonus In Color Splash,you only need to not take damage or get your paint stolen in-between turns (this explains why you can get a Perfect Bonus on Roy even though he steals it at the start of the fight)

You HAVE to use the scissors sticker the first time you fight Bowser Jr because he restores all his HP every turn. The scissors is the only way to defeat him the first time. For Megasparkle Goomba: once it faces its back towards you, you can make them fall apart with the scissors or fan. With Tower Power Pokey, use the bat once it raises all its segments. Use the sponge on your 4th turn to send Gooper Blooper’s blind poison attack back at him. When big cheep cheep dives into the water, use the fishing hook to reel it back to the surface, then defeat it quickly before it explodes. If the lights come on while fighting big boo, you can’t attack him since he hides, but soda or fans can put the lights out. Bowser’s snow statue/Mizzter Blizzard is weak against fire attacks so bring lots of fire type thing stickers to quickly melt this snowman. Once Petey Piranha spins at you, he’ll get dizzy. Jump or use your hammer to knock him down, then use lots of jump based stickers to deal increased damage. Deal enough damage and he’ll spit out Kirsti, allowing you to use the battle spin if you need it. In the 2nd and 3rd fights against Kamek, he starts by turning all your stickers into sandals. These act like eekhammers and can’t reach him if he’s high in the air. For Bowser part 1, use these thing stickers in these phases: Phase 1: use Stapler or Tape to close the doors so Bowser can’t summon more minions to shield him. Phase 2: start with a hammer attack to knock whomp down, then use scissors or any cutting thing sticker to instantly defeat it. Phase 3: use the air conditioner, fridge or shaved ice to freeze the lava bubbles so Bowser can’t attack you. You can use fan or any blowing thing sticker to deal bonus damage to Bowser but if this doesn’t trigger the 4th phase, then new lava bubbles will come in and you’ll take quite a lot of damage. With Phase 4, you could use a tail sticker to knock back the chain chomp and send Bowser falling, but the bat or a swinging thing sticker instantly ends the battle. Then in his final fight, avoid using jump stickers on his head, unless it’s iron jump. After dealing a bit of damage, despite only dealing 1 damage per hit, Kersti will go into the sticker album. Use her to increase your power AND be able to use up to 5 stickers every turn. If you deal enough damage to his arms, they’ll break off and you can no longer target them. The best way to cheese this final fight after the power up is to use the boom box followed by Megaflash Infinijump.

This game was so bad. The only real incentive you had to fight enemy’s was to get money. There are so many better ways they could’ve made this game as an rpg. I personally would’ve made Mario’s hammer and jump abilitys similar to how they worked in past rpgs. And instead of stickers acting like usable items they instead acted like perks that gave his hammer and jump along with himself passive abilitys that changed how Mario fought as a whole. Like equipping the green shell sticker would add to Mario’s defense or equipping shoe and hammer stickers increased jump strength and hammer strength. And as for the real object stickers you can equip them into rare sticker slots and use them once per stage run that way we don’t have to waste time constantly going back and getting them. There were so many ways this game could’ve been improved that the devs never even bothered with implementing

Well it's because of three problems 1: There is not even a real plot. 2: The battles are pointless due to you lose stickers and can find coins anywhere so you try to avoid enemies like plague. 3: The bosses are EXTREMELY DIFFICULT if you don't use their weakness, some are even required, like the Big Cheep Cheep, you HAVE to use the Fish hook, which is EXTREMELY EASY TO MISS because it is very well hidden.

The royal stickers go and make various enemies more powerful since they all grant a wish. (E.g goomba wanted to be a leader, mizzter blizzard wanted to never melt, gooper blooper wants to dance) The final royal sticker goes to bowser, where he gains ultimate shiny power that gives him the ability to survive a fatal attack and heal. (hence his second and third forms) Kersti thinks Mario touched it and forces him to get all the royal stickers back to right the wrongs. Dude the stickers are everywhere. How can you waste them? YOU DON’T EVEN NEED THE HOOK TO BEAT CHEEP CHEEP. It’s hard but possible

The battle system is not good and the story is bland. But can we talk about this game’s soundtrack tho??? It’s like the Sonic 06 of Paper Mario. Bad game, KILLER OST. They had a big band feel to every boss and yet they made them feel fitting. Gooper Blooper is the absolute highlight of the soundtrack with him clapping more aggressively as the phases go on.
