Koko's Paradise (Inkwell Studios, 1926) with Koko the Clown

Here is a midway entry in Max Fleischer's independently produced Out of the Inkwell series. By this point, the clown character had been redesigned with help from animator Dick Huemer, and had finally come to be called "Koko."
The retitled version seen here is a pirated 16mm TV print made by Astra TV in the early 1950s. Print courtesy of the Stathes Collection.
For nearly 20 years, the Cartoons On Film team has been locating and reuniting rare 16mm and 35mm prints of silent era cartoons cartoons. We've also been collecting hi res scans of prints in other collections. Cartoons On Film's long term plan is to release new restorations of all the surviving silent era Fleischer animated films. We look forward to releasing the first batch of these new restorations in the near future.

I went searching online and I found some Astra TV cartoons not listed on the IAD list. Tanked (Bonzo) Dog-Gone (Bonzo) Magazine Rack (“I Like Mountain Music”, WB) El Toreador (likely “El Terrible Toreador”, Disney) Picnic and Picnics (likely “The Picnic Panic”, Van Beuren) War Daze (no clue) Monkey Doodle (“Monkeydoodle”, Les Elton) The Hobo Hero (Les Elton) The first 2 I found on YT, 4 afterwards I found on your old blog. Last 2 were released by Screen Attractions, according to Cartoon Research.

Honestly, it's a treat to see an alternate version of this particular pirated version of this classic Ko-Ko entry with different music than the other print I've seen floating around from Astra. Thanks for uploading! (Side note, honestly, "Heavenly Daze" is honestly a wonderful name for this short, every bit as good as the original title. One of Astra's better retitles, I'd say.)
