I don’t know if it will be in season 2 of this or not, but ghosts do eventually become a canonical thing within Baki. Basically, Baki’s grandfather shows up, it’s SUPER hype. But if actual ghosts can be real in Baki, and actual 100 million year old cavemen, and Bigfoot, and a genetically cloned ancient samurai warrior, it’s only a matter of time before someone in Baki fights an actual sentient robot, or an actual alien. I mean, think about it. The author of Baki is going after things that have a defined musculature, more or less. They’re all humanoid. The science in his story is already advanced enough to create perfect clones. There’s no reason aliens couldn’t show up, and highly advanced AI couldn’t be created. I can see it now, man. Baki’s creator takes the chance to make an alien that is just muscles incarnate. He can do whatever he f*cking wants with the muscles on it, because he’s making it up from scratch. And the robot? That had the chance to become a great Baki character. An AI that can learn fighting techniques faster than Yujiro. A character who’s very existence would probably deeply insult like half the cast of Baki. A metal creature who could probably survive a fight with even Yujiro, if his memories are backed up wirelessly. A metal man in a story that values muscle and skill above all else would be such an amazing thing to add to the story of Baki. And again, Baki’s world has already created perfect cloning, a sentient AI that simply wants to become better at martial arts shouldn’t be too impossible for the series.
