Excellent job... After listening to this I have new faith that UV is still a good company. I was one of the people who became bitter and complained online about receiving a defective UV Slider purchased directly from UV and being treated extremely poorly; even having to pay for shipping and a repair fee for a slider that was defective out of the box (screws were loose, rack was deformed, and the slider didn't slide). At that time, I was so excited to go down the archery rabbit hole spending a ton of $$$$ to make my own arrows, tinker, tune, and learn. I was excited, wanted to shoot, and it was fun... a stress reliever of sorts. When I had all the problems with UV and being treated so poorly it just took the fun out of it; so much so that to this day I've still not sighted in the UV slider or picked up the bow because I just didn't want to deal with any drama if it wasn't right. I had many other irons in the fire and many other reasons to not shoot, but since I lost the fun and excitement I just stalled out. During that time, I had requested over and over to talk to someone on the phone to share that their customer service was broke and never ever heard from anyone. Back then customer service was text support only and they would just state the UV Slider did not have the same warranty as other items and i had to pay to have it fixed and when you challenged them and asked for a supervisor, they'd just ghost you. So, hearing Kolby admit they had some challenges and took actions to fix them is refreshing. Hopefully I will not have any problems but if I do, I'm hoping their customer service will take care of me like i should have been taken care of the first time. Long time UV customer; Springfield KY.

Dan is such a respectful person. You can tell through the whole podcast that he’s actually listening to what he has to say and he genuinely cares. Keep that going Dan, it’s rare for people to actually care and listen nowadays.

I really wanted a uv slider, I was super disappointed that a $600 left handed sight was just a right handed one flipped upside down. Super awkward to lock and unlock the dial. So now I'm waiting for my boonie.

So stoked to listen to this, I was upset with ultraview because of a scope break before en using it then having to pay for a return and blah blah blah, well they surely made it right and way better, my . 15 double pin scope that I sent in got completely replaced with a whole new scope with that housing in it! Thank you #ultraview I appreciate your generosity and being legit! Also thank you Dan for everything and for the chance at winning on that bow give away, sadly I wasn't a winner but I still appreciate it and you!

Awesome pod! It was great to get to know the man behind the name. It’s great to see how humble he is and what a nice guy. Definitely will keep supporting the company. You can tell he cares about the lifestyle and the archery community. And as for you, thanks for putting out content like this, you really show how much you care about passing the knowledge and supporting the lifestyle.

Love the episode love the bow industry 600$ for a bow sight is ridiculous My rifle scope is 500$ and i can shoot 1400 yards the parts on the slider on do not require more precision then a rifle scope Components.. keep the great videos coming

Dan, what a great podcast and you asked some tough questions and I cringed when you asked and was surprised that Kolby didn’t bat an eye and answered. Mad respect for the UV company now. Great Job

This was a great interview on both ends, Dan your question and direction tou took the conversation were great. Colby was very into the conversation and took all the constructive criticism and hard questions in stride with articulated answers of why they designed things the way they do. 10/10

Awesome episode. The UV Slider is honestly a great scope. Love the .15 pin, however the middle pin color (yellow) has to go. That is my only complaint. Again awesome episode!

I appreciate both of you guys. When Ultraview first started, I was eager to purchase their products, however, I passed on the purchase because I couldn't speak to someone on the phone. Things have changed. Enjoyed the podcast and have a better appreciation for both of you. Glade to get to know the Ultraview story. Will purchase the slider.

I've been looking forward to this one . I run the their Slider and I love it. The pins however are a little dark because I'm in Texas and I hunt out of ground blinds. I did fix the problem with removing their light kit and I added the E-Tac LED Light . Thank you Dan for asking the questions that all of us are thinking! Cheers brother!

I like to support small US companies like Ultraview, and they've done a great job with their products. I don't think their customer service could be any better... always an extremely positive experience. I wish they had a shorter neck release. They might have the best reasons for it, but if it was shorter I think they'd sell a lot more releases because it's so well made. The Slider is a game changer... running the triple vertical and no issue with pins.
