It was time to marry my dear, but I got stuck in my pocket = no money to start a life, so he lost his girl It was time to develop my career, but I got stuck in my job = he wanted a career, but ended up stuck in the same job I tried to clean my act up, but I got stuck in a bucket = he tried to kick his addiction (drugs, alcohol, etc.) but he "fell in". I tried so hard to run away, but I got stuck in a window = he tried to get away from his sad life, but he saw a window/an opportunity, took it, and now he's stuck again. I did this for fun, but it actually really makes sense...
