Nice engine, very nice exhaust!!!! As a German, I have a question: Why are the old Komet rotary vane motors called B-bombs? I still have a Komet K30 of the last series with flat slide carburetor (Formula K) that I would like to refurbish, but the procurement of spare parts is a challenge...

Everything for your K30 is available today. The liner in this k299 is a new one from BULLER products and so is the rod. SpeedParts makes all the gaskets, pistons and other hard to find items for that engine. Today there are new cranks, billet cases and muffs available as well. New cylinder heads are $250.00 making the entire engine available new from aftermarket suppliers
