I agree with that sentiment, but it's because it's different. Earlier chapters of the manga was so rough around the edges. The drawings aren't fleshed out and they're really... square. Though it won me over. Anime made it real good tho. Smooth out the rough parts and still kept most of it. Skipping here and there but Manga gives full experience.
