Kerajaan perlu beri perhatian khas terhadap etnik Tamil. Jangan lupa etnik Tamil adalah penyumbang utama sektor perladangan yg menjadi sumber ekonomi utama sebelum 90an. Jgn lupa sumbangan mrk dlm sektor pembinaan,jln raya,keretapi dan letrik tanpa jentera moden. Titik peluh dan darah mereka bersemadi di manax2. Tapi tidak dihargai malah sistem pendidikan mengaburi hakikat penghorbanan etnik Tamil terhadap negara ini. SEDIH.

We cannot help people based on race anymore. It should be based on needs alone. For example, I agree there should be quota for university admissions but no more than 30% for everyone across all races who come from poor families but still had decent grades.

If we open our eyes wide enough, we can see some conscientious and hardworking politicians who are genuine in intention - they will help anybody regardless of race. Greetings, Madam Mariam.. Thank you so much for bringing this up today. Since the period of Sammyveloo, the Indian community has been ignored. The Indian Ministers and their allies plundered and misappropriated the meagre funds provided by the previous administration. Since it was never shared with regular residents, we had to work extremely hard and endure terrible treatment at the hands of Chinese managers in private businesses in order to advance in life.I don't anticipate any changes happening soon or at this time. For those like us, it doesn't matter if there are Indian ministers present or not.

But why should a millionaire Malay is given discount to buy house or scholarship ( even when he is not really deserve). But the Malays insist it’s their birthright. Give malaysia another 20 yrs. Mahathir’s final wish will be fulfilled. From a multiracial country it will become Tanah Melayu. Never elect or choose Tamil or Indian origin leaders from any party, old or new, to represent the Tamil or Indian community because they will never ever do anything to help and upgrade the community but exploit them instead. They, like what you have just said, would hold illegal kangaroo courts courts or 'kattai Panchayat' (a practice brought from South India), employ hooligans and together with their allies misappropriate provisions given to the Indian community and amass wealth for themselves and their allies only. They couldn't give a damn for the Indians who voted them. I'd rather seek help from or appeal to the non-indian politician especially the Malays. So, I strongly urge and suggest that only field non-indian candidates, Chinese or Malay to represent the Indian community in Malaysia for they are more trustworthy compared to their Indian counterpart. The NEP has done a great disservice to the Malaysian Indians, especially the poor indians who toiled in the estates and other manual labour. While the middle class indians could raise above the NEP restrictions like many Malaysian chinese through hard work and education, alas these poor indians are unable to. Yet they were denied help because they are being classified as non bumiputra. This is social injustice to the nth degree.

Ada athletes yang berjaya & kaya raya, ataupun ahli Perniagaan yang berpendidikan rendah tapi berjaya. As always I really enjoy watching your videos. Whatever topics you choose to speak I find you speak the truth and factual analysis of the reality. The Indians are the most affected and deprived community. With a rigid system in place it has become very difficult to find employment opportunities in public as well as private sectors. I find some are making foolish comments that we Indians are to be blamed for our economic condition. Did there people really looked into the root causes which brought the Indians to the current state. It is not appropriate to say that the Indians are not helping themselves to come out of this economic condition. They are hardworking and smart people who have the abilities to make things right if given the opportunity. But the opportunities are not coming forth to make things happen. Been trying to apply for a job with a salary that suits my experience but most of the time I lose out to those from peninsular Malaysia with less experience than me (they still have a higher salary than me).. and for context, i have been a project specialist for 15 years..during job interviews, the moment they knew i am from Borneo, i will not get the job . Semua peruntukkan tak sampai ke akar umbi.semuanya di sapu oleh golongan kayangan dan ahli politik. Share Talikom, MITRA, MIED, dan banyak lagi tak diagihkan. Ada desas desus mengatakan berbillon telah dibayar oleh Kerajaan Jepun sebagai gantirugi kepada yang mati akibat pembinaan landasan keretapi maut tapi tiada sehingga hari ini masih senyap. Kemiskinan orang India dan kedaifan sekolah2 Tamil dijadikan modal untuk minta peruntukkan setiap tahun dari bajet. Sudah 63 tahun merdeka tapi masalah masih belum selesai.

Thank you Meriam. Truth painful for most malays. Not all malays are bad. I have real good malay friends. The government is the one that continually misguide the malays/islams. You know what Meriam, I laugh when I think about the real owner of each piece of land and ocean on this planet earth. It belongs to God. So for every human that takes ownership of a certain land without considering the unfortunate who also deserves as a human. At the end they loose. No peace and No satisfaction. Greetings dear lady..I personally agree with your views. The best person for job/representation must be all rounder in the sense that it’s a community with no barriers, no prejudice and fair treatment to all. That demarcation shouldn’t arise nor occur for a united country to progress and develop. it’s a huge issue if an individual elected couldn’t care and carry out his or her duties to be uniform and not biased. IMO one must have an aim and agenda to serve all communities and a healthy attitude and mentality in other words no racism.

Couple of years ago I remember Sothinathan said the same thing and blamed Umno leaders for the failure of indian community problems and progress and did not draw any future plans for them when estates were sold off and the workers lost their livelihoods and importantly a shelter for these families Umno leaders denied it

One muslim malay commented on you-tube regarding "an Indian student asking PM Anwar Ibrahim when this quota system will change" before PRN had added weight to Mahathir's propoganda concerning constitutional rights which must not be touch. This you- tuber mentioned, this is the pie that belongs to the malays! If that being so, then the progress of other races are always at the mercy of "malay rights" eventhough other races had worked hard to contribute to nation building had gone unrecognized especially the older generations after the 1st, 2nd and communist wars! If malays are still not improving after 60 long years, mean this protection clause is not working and in need of replacement urgently!!! Will the authorities do something about it???
