As a 17 year old, i never thought that a 50 year old movie would be as incredible as it turned out to be. Every frame was art and every dialogue felt so real. Don't wait too long! I've found that how gory a film is isn't nearly as important as how the film treats said gore/violence. The godfather is really respectful about it and gives any violence the consequences and weight it deserves. If anything, should teach your son that hurting people never comes without a cost. Certainly better than slasher horror unapologetic gore.

There's a pristine and clear flow in the rhythms, the dynamics send chills down my spine, and the crescendo and diminuendos create a heavy sort of flying feeling.
