We have this plate for our live production handheld rig. Best one on the market in my opinion. Power switch is a must after using it. So easy to power camera, transmitter, and monitor with all the port options on this thing. I didn’t want to plug everything into a battery with ports. Then you need to disconnect every cord, every time you swap a battery.

100% going to pickup the v mount plate

Looks cool, but I gotta say, I've NEVER had an issue bumping a battery off my SmallRig v-mount plate. It's rock solid, but it's just a mount, no electronics. I'll def check out this new plate KB. It looks very well done. I've got a bunch of your dummy batteries for my little baby cameras, and your 4 port d/p-tap distro box for my bigger rigs. All very high quality.

Just ordered one before this video aired.. safe to say I will be happy with this product!

It really looks like one of the best plates out there. The only thing it will make it perfect would be to be truly hot shapable by having an internal battery for 60-120sec or something like that. I wonder if its possible to make an "expansion module" with internal battery that could add this functionality? I would be happy even if it gives us 30 sec.

I think it would perfectly fit into my PYXIS RIG. 😊

When plugged in to AC, does it simultaneously charge the battery and provide uninterrupted power to the camera/accessory outputs?

very nice things!

Would there be audio ground loop noise if this plate was powering a Canon R5C and a MixPre3? For example, currently if I power the R5C and Mixpre3 via the USBC and USBA ports respectively on the FXlion Nano Two battery, noise is recorded to the R5C files when the 3.5mm MixPre3 output is connected to the R5C 3.5mm input. The noise goes away when the R5C and MixPre3 are powered by separate sources, but ideally they could both run on the one battery source.

Will this work with a C400? Don't have one yet but it's on my wishlist.

@@avx111 absolutely! We even created a special short power cable for the c400 to work cleanly with our Battery Plates!

I said this on insta but I will live this here too. I think this a miss tho, i don't understand how this can be called a pro product when you 2 barrel ports instead of 2 pin ports. And to now have two pin you need and expansion module.

True
@brenthearn234915 күн бұрын
It makes sense from a financial/marketing standpoint. Most of Kondor’s demographic won’t be using 2 pin as much as barrels. Those who do use 2 pin frequently will no doubt have the budget to purchase the expansion module.
@okah12315 күн бұрын
@@brenthearn2349 I hear you, I find the expansion module for just 2pin to be ridiculous as that would also a hight to the plate. I applaud kondor blue for the reversible dtaps and the mounting options tho.
@starsieve15 күн бұрын
@@okah123 it's a tiny battery plate by default, and the expansion module increases the size of the plate to standard battery plate height. Maybe it was a little unclear since the plate is shown with mini/micro batteries attached for much of this video; the expansion module just adds back the height you'd normally expect a plate to be by default (at least in my experience!)
