How do robot's smile? That's all that I basically saw in this video. People used to install the vehicle hood. No more, it's robot's doing 99% of the labor. Within 2 year's, robot's will be driving the finished vehicle out to the loading dock, to be shipped out to the dealer. And the few human employees are smiling because of the HUGE profit sharing check they are gonna get every year. Can't wait to see the video of Ford Electric Vehicles being produced. There will be less people working the assembly line, because the electric vehicles require less part's to assemble. Robot's will all that you see on the electric vehicle line. The only human on the assembly line is the one driving the finished vehicle off at the end of the line.

I have a Silverton built 2014 Ranger Limited 2.2 auto and am about to add a new 2023 Wildtrak 2.0 Biturbo to it. The 2014 has worked hard for 85,000 miles of general farm work and towing 3.5 tons on challenging roads. The only repeat problem has been rear springs breaking leaves, almost always when very lightly loaded for some reason. I did change the engine oil pump a few months ago just in case, because that is a known failure issue with the engines of that vintage. Changed the transmission and rear axle oil [again] at about 70,000 miles.

Thanks to our idiotic politicians, tariffs were reduced which then flooded our market with cheap imported cars. Every market in the world that manufactures vehicles protects their industry by imposing tariffs on imports. You can thank senator John Button who was the crusader for reducing import tariffs with the belief that this would make our manufacturing more productive & therefore more competitive. Wasn’t he wrong!. I am an electrician who completed my electrical apprenticeship with General Motors & then went on to work at both Ford & Toyota. It was very sad for me personally when our automotive manufacturing industries closed down in Australia. I will cherish all of the fond memories of those golden days.

And yet ford couldn’t build the ranger I ordered then reordered last year. So out of frustration I went and bought an inbound Toyota Tacoma. Ford has angered a lot of us ranger customers by choosing to prioritize bronco production and ignore people waiting for over a year
@macneoh74182 жыл бұрын
I ordered my Ranger XLT FX4 in July 2021. The dealership told me it would be a 3 month wait. About 5 months later Ford emailed me and said my Ranger was being upgraded to 2022. I noticed some changes like the blackout package I didn't order. They did that because the spay in bed liner i wanted was no longer a stand alone order, you had to order the blackout package to get it. Also, the heated seats I ordered were now only available on the Lariat. So the truck I ordered months ago didn't even exist for the 2022 models, and Ford still didn't have a build date or a VIN for this truck. I called the dealership screaming. They started looking for a truck that was similar to what I ordered, but I wanted the extended cab and those are rare. I told the sales manager forget it......I bought a used 2017 Tacoma off road extended cab with 19,500 miles and saved thousands of dollars. About two months after I bought the Tacoma the dealership called and said my truck came in. I told them I had a toyota parked in the garage. They actually had the nerve to ask me if I wanted to trade the tacoma in for the Ford. I love my Tacoma.

Had a Ranger as a rental truck when I was in NC filming for my channel. I hope my ex[eriance with it was a one off or Ford is in a lot of trouble down the road. I think every front sensor had an issue of some sort. Most of the time when trying to use adaptive cruise control it wouldn't work saying the sensors were blocked. If it it engage it would nearly rearend the vehicle in front of me before it slammed on the brakes. Once the distance specified was acheived again it would accelerate hard and not brake the second time. I coould be stopped and a vehicle could pull up next to me either side and the collision warning would go off, thinking I was about to get into an accident. At one time coming onto the hwy from an on-ramp, it downshifted and had such a lound bang and jolt I though the tranny just blew up on me. The lane keep was so bad I had to dissable it. It would bounce the truck back and forth between the lines so bad I kept expecting to be pulled over and have to do a sobriety test.

Mate what you rented was a Ute a truck generally has 10 wheels then add on a trailer
@rayrussell62582 жыл бұрын
Rental vehicles are the worst possible comparison to what you will get from the factory there is. People abuse vehicles you know, and some even sabotage vehicles for the fun of it. Then people like you go online and trash something you have no idea the history behind what you drove. I think it's safe to ignore your "evaluation". BTW, the Ranger being built in this video is a successor version of the Ranger you have in the US. It won't be available in the US until mid-year 2023, as a 2024 model year vehicle. I was in a manufactured home once, and the roof leaked. Obviously, ALL manufactured homes are built with leaky roofs. So ........ how did you like my evaluation of YOUR product, Nate?
@NatesHomeTours2 жыл бұрын
@@rayrussell6258 I was just stating my experience with one. Yes I know rentals get abused. This one had less than 10k on the odometer.
@rayrussell62582 жыл бұрын
@@NatesHomeTours Clearly the intent of your post was to discredit the brand, otherwise you wouldn't have gone into such detail for a single rental that likely only lasted a day or two. You were LOOKING for negatives. Number of miles on the vehicle does not matter. For all of that to happen on ONE vehicle, there had to be tampering or the vehicle was in an accident and not properly repaired, also something that frequently happens on rental vehicles. Sometimes it's best to just keep "experiences" to yourself, Nate. People's lives depend on the work they do in companies producing these products, and one isolated instance needs not be broadcast to the world over a social media site. I happen to know that Ford quality is in a statistical dead heat with Toyota and Honda, because I spent a career in automotive and studied that data constantly. Hard statistical objective data, not that soft "opinion"/ subjective data reported by the press that they get from Consumer Reports customers surveys or JDPower, also a collection of subjective opinions. As I said, MY experience with manufactured houses is they all leak, based on the one that I entered that had a roof leak! Painting the entire manufactured home industry with my single experience isn't fair, is it, Nate? So except in response to people who unfairly and openly attack products, I resist temptation and keep that experience quiet usually.
