GDO White - Installing a Wired Sensor

In home assistant is the "Wired Sensor" status controlled by the optical sensor or is this for a line-in on the konnected device?

The sensor named "wired sensor" is the direct state of the wired input (terminals labeled INPUT). If you don't have anything connected to those terminals, it'll always show open/ON but this is normal. Unless the detection method setting is changed to include the wired sensor, it has no effect on the state of the garage door.

Will these settings be available on the web interface? I didn't see any advanced section I just paired it with HA right out the box😅.

The settings are not in the web interface -- they cannot be changed "on the fly". Use the Konnected app to find the device, and the settings are built-in to firmware updates that you can apply to the device directly from the Konnected app.
