4.14 left me speechless. Of course his voice is naturally quite high, but you need a darn good control to sing that part, expecially if you wrote 40 years ago when your vocal cords were younger. He must have a GREAT technique and training routine, not many professional musicians successfully sing that good for so long

Wow Dennis deyoung from Styx can still sing just as amazing as he did in Styx! Both Dennis deyoung and Tommy Shaw fit Styx perfectly! I actually thought for quite a while that Dennis deyoung sang every single Styx song so what I learned new from looking it up is that Tommy Shaw also sings in a lot of Styx songs but I love both Dennis deyoung and Tommy Shaw in Styx and both have amazing voices! I think Dennis deyoung from Styx left the band to focus on a solo career but he has such a beautiful voice and amazing vocals in Styx! I was born in August of 2003 and I am very blessed to know lots of amazing music from the 70s and 80s!

sadly, Dennis got sick in 1999, Tommy Shaw & Co. toured without him leading to an ugly lawsuit. Tommy & the band refuse to acknowledge Dennis is alive, and make peace with Dennis. Very SAD!!!!!!

@@joycewhiteexecwell actually according to google when I look it up Dennis deyoung actually did have a solo career back in the 80s but that was when Styx broke up after Tommy Shaw left but it's great that Dennis deyoung still tours as Dennis deyoung and the music of Styx after he left the band!
