I think she is trying to gain the skills and ability’s to teach and learn how to form a group. If soyeon makes her own sub label or her own label . What's the point of having a company if soyeon and the other members have to do everything?? It was shocking to hear that the members had to pay half of the budget for the Super lady MV . Let face it. Like another commenter said, Cube needs Idle more than Idle needs Cube. Soyeon is effectively CEO of the group and wouldn't have much trouble morphing them to an independent group. You know she's been carefully watching people like IU and the Pinks form and run their own agencies so it would be very out of character for our workaholic wonder not to have Idle, Inc. as a backup plan that would also return Soojin to the group. And Cube certainly doesn't seem to be helping matters. You would think after watching the BP/YG disaster, they would be throwing everything they could at Soyeon and the members to keep them, but that doesn't seem to be the case. At this point, I have to wonder what the hell is going on with these agencies? It has to be not only money but ego since any rational businesman would make retaining their top earners their priority. I'd argue that our Tiny Terror is now the dominate figure in Kpop. Making Idle and Soyeon cough up their own cash to promote themselves? It's just insane by any measure. Rumor is MORE VISION, TheBlackLabel, and P Nation have all indicated they are all willing to negotiate/sign (G)i-Dle, if they leave Cube.

CLC Yujin's Kepler is going to be disbanded, and both CLC ( Seunghee and Eunbin ) are still in Cube. Those 3 members' future beyond 2024 are still not clear.

I hope that Soyeon buys the trademark from CUBE. She creates her own label put her group in there so they have more freedom than what they have over at CUBE. If they do get their own label, does that mean their former member Soojin can rejoin the group (ever since CUBE forced her out, you can tell in Soyeons compositions of the songs, theirs always a Hint of Soojin in the music and in the Music Videos (aka NXDE and Revenge)

I have to give Soyeon a lot of prop on doing everything and including pirated software just to make the music. Cube is great at finding these artists but they don't know how to keep them. They have horrible management. I'm still pissed on how they treated CLC and Soojin. My girls should really just build or find another company to work with if Cube doesn't get their shit together and give them the support they need.

Somehow i think Soyeon might go solo and not even in kpop. I feel like she's so tired of all this sh*t idols have to experience. She's a creator, that's for sure. And she's great as an idol. But i feel like she might not like all this idol sh*t. She always seemed to me more like a producer/songwriter. I would be glad if she'll take idle with her and will continue guiding Idle as the same kpop group. But i would not mind if she'll choose something else. It's just... It's like she outgrown being an idol. Anyways. I CAN'T WAIT for their contracts with Cube to end. Each and every one of the girls are so mature in terms of being an entertainer, each of them has something she's good in and popular for. I'd be surprised if any of the (G)-IDLE members want to renew their contracts. The amount of abuse (Not physical) that the company does to their groups is crazy. I'm obviously not happy that (G)-IDLE is going to disband next year but im happy that theyll be more free and be able to do stuff that they like, keep their health good, and just be happy. #(G)-IDLE

G-Idle should leave Cube since they’re basically managing themselves with no help from the company and having to pay their own bills for all their activities. Hopefully they can go to a company that would better manage them and help them financially. They deserve better. Soyeon is like the female G dragon for cube she writes songs, produces, manages the members, performs but she doesn’t get any respect. God forbid a woman can do something else besides dance and look pretty. I admire her and I hope she gets the respect she deserves.

Cube used to be part of the big 4 for a reason they have iconic groups like clc pentagon btob gidle they never handled them well that's why they fell off, I'm hoping gidle follows btob's routes, cz I'm gonna cry if they disband but the end if contract means they are up for negotiations and they have the upper hand cz Cube is in a tight spot so they might stay or leave altogether I doubt they will separate tho

at this point i think if in the end idle doesn't renew the contract (I hope so), many agencies will be lining up to get idle. Who doesn't want to have a group like Idle? Their name is already big, their album sales are good, they can produce their own concepts and songs, soyeon can make her own remixes for shows, they are very good when appearing on variety shows, and most importantly they can become role model for trainees. but I wouldn't be surprised if soyeon would create her own agency.

Soyeon and G-idle = Cube. Artistically and financially they are still relevant because of G-idle and nothing else. At this point Soyeon could probably just purchase it and not have to lose all of Cube and G-idles promotional power as entities. Whatever the case, Soyeon will still be able to write hit songs and there will always be some sort of overarching controversy to their comebacks. Which in turn promotes itself. But considering G-idle and Cube have not been in-fighting at all, and none of the members express issues with Cube, or have any sort of contract disputes in the media, my guess is they will just stay at Cube, just with better contracts. Maybe even the same kind of contracts BP have - since Yuqi, for example, already has her own solo album -- which might in turn explain how their contracts are going to work out in regards to all of this. The most likely scenario here is more solo albums. Other than that - again - if they start in-fighting with Cube, like an SM, YG or Hybe, then i think the whole "g-idle will leave cube" arguement will be justified. But realistically, i think cube will just do what yg did and will just give them better contracts. And unlike yg, it probably wouldnt destroy cube to do so.

Most of this video is accurate and well researched, but regarding Super Lady - CUBE did not force the girls to put up half the cost, IDLE girls came up with the concept, asked for the high budget to build the set and hire the dancers, and the girls negotiated a 50/50 deal with their label. This is a fair negotiation initiated and carried out by IDLE and not the fault of the company.
