You'll get it, don't worry. There's so many people out there, one of them will be perfect. I thought the same thing a couple of years ago, especially since I was living in a homophobic family and country, and now my fiancée's family have taken me in completely.

Try "Sabzi polo ba mahi" which basically is fish and rice with dill it's another nowruz traditional dish

My whole family is from Iran and they moved to the Uk before I was born but I can speak farsi and we still celebrate things like winter equinox and spring equinox (norooz -not sure how to spell it) and I’ve been watching you on Tasty and on your own channel for a while and it’s so cool seeing someone I’ve followed for so long talking about it? Idk lmao

It’s called an outlier. 99% of Persians in SF Bay Area that fled after the 1979 coup would not be down with their kid being gay. This is performative social media crap. Making everything seem lovey dovey and chill when I’ve never met a Persian American chill EVER. They yell at you, scream, are very MONEY MONEY MONEY MONEY. Keep up the BS with this content tho😊

Hi I’m Persian and I just I want to say chahrshabe sori is not 2day before Nowruz it’s the last Tuesday in year and there is no rules to go on the Beach and turn on the fire we can do it every where and jump on it ,just that love your cooking video ✨🤍

One of my friend celebrates Persian new year, and I was invited to celebrate with them, and it was super fun. The food was great, and the tea, we danced and did some karaoke and overall had a good time all together!
