JT is the main ingredient of Kool & the Gang 2.0. Only JT, Kool, and George Brown (the drummer) are still with us today.

Whoops! I was wrong! Early 80’s. He IS part of the most successful line-up, which also included Clifford Adams on trombone and Michael Ray on trumpet, who still plays with them from time to time. Watch him dance even in the most recent shows, what a hoot!
