im one of “todays kids” and i think i speak for all of us when i say no one would consider them cheesy. a lot of us unknowingly grew up on these songs and types of music so its classics to us. sure some of us might not listen to it often, but i guarantee if you were to play this song in a group full of teens today they’ll sing/hum along

I've got massive respect and admiration for these guys. What a legacy. Been a fan since I was a kid. They wrote the book on how to be commercial entertainers while maintaining rock solid artistic integrity simultaneously.

It is 2019 Kool your travels has been great . We Love You and The Gang . JT will always be one of The Gang. I was very sad to learn that Charles Smith, Spike Micken and Clifford Adam RIP😢 I see you Robert Kool Bell in every show even when I don’t see the other some time at a show . This group is highly appreciate for all 50 plus years. May God continue to bless each and everyone of you and your families. . It would be A blessing to see you reunite together with JT again . I Love see Kool with his Base guitar early in the 60 his Base was bigger it looked than Him. This is why this KATG 80’Group were Just Awesome together listening how everyone has a in put. Very Cesco for the 80s and 60s until today. The best group ever!

I’ve been a fan since my uncle played the ”Good times” album as we celebrated his 19th birthday back in -73 , when I was 8. I went elsewhere when they turned disco , but the first 8 studio albums (and 2 live) before is still some of my favourites.

I didn'tt care what my frie ds said about my funk taste in.musuc in 70's .Disco came along mud 70s and times have slowly changed..These guys are great .back then and still now! I used to see them in concert a lot all over NYS. Thanks for sharing this, love it, love them!! Now retired to Southwest FL but wish they would come here in concert. 💕Humanitarians not just singers...Singers, dancers, singers, play instruments, looking at outfits back then, just live them!! very important..Never got backstage passes for them YET. 💕 2024..Please come to Southwest FL. We have several venues large enough .By the way, am antique dealer, also sell records, cassettes, 8 tracks, CDs in Fort Myers..Also into Music BIGTIME . 💕 Kool & the Gang!!

Don't worry Be happy JT left on his own . He had dreams of his own . He wanted to playing in movies he did one movie mambo Kings, and sounds track to movie. Wanted A solo career. Following his own dreams .He reunited with Kool and the gang in 1996-1998 they did a CD Salute to the ladies
