Sir, thank u for taking care of your soldiers. I joined the Armed Forces back in 1980 called SAF Boys School, and my eldest brother was a veteran in 1967 trained by Isreal soldiers. Australia attachment to cater bunks for logistics and technician. Reason in any exercise, they are the back support and the last soldiers to be used to defend. They are not sure of how the exercise is or its warfare planning. especially when live firing is on. This post a danger to them being around and staying near together with the front-line troop fighting. Next, just a suggestion, sir. Active soldiers need a break in doing duties, like standby technician and ops room. Their full concentration should be on training. As I heard in this video many weekends and PH sacrifices were made, given with our poor birth rate in record and intake, camp are now like ghost town, is it possible to used our reservist to do duty as part of their reserved service. It's like in 1 month reservist 1 or 2 weeks is their duty role, thou training consistent training is important its time we need to think out of the box. Looking even further, we can employ ex- personnel who are jobless out there who can be our best support to do duty. In any war, when we run out of fighting soldiersthe next in line are these civilians. This will help a lot with your active soldiers not to lose their off days to the weekend off. Maybe we can put this on trial. Those soldiers are spoke to are discourage to continue their service with one main reason doing duty. Some soldiers are doing 2 duties, standby, and ops rooms. Lastly, soldiers deserve good facilities in their guard or ops room with some supplies like biscuits, bread, and drinks. Hope our government can consider this request and part of soldiers' welfare.

A Bronze Star with V Device is given for act of valor during combat. If it's just a bronze star, then it's just a meritorious medal. Still impressive though

SAF Day on 1 July is like mini-National Day, taking place in isolation at SAFTI. It's like a family affair. What are the objectives? We should elevate the significance and contribution of ALL NSmen, including the SPF & SCDF. I propose replacing SAF Day and rename it NS DAY and declaring a public holiday, and ALL NSmen n NSF are required to be in uniform. They can also de-kit if necessary. Hope General will consider this suggestion.

Since NS is compulsory for all male, just suggesting all male in secondary school need to learn some of the training, like drill marching and command, camping, firing skills, martial art or unarmed combat as in all defense this helps them in mind and prepare for their N.S.

If I'm not wrong, NCC already does it, but it's more like volunteering to prepare for NS, I'm not sure I'm not NCC during my secondary school years
