FSG aren’t the worst owners, but their overall plan is global and LFC is just a part of their strategy - we’ve seen some good times and some great business but we’ve bought some lemons like Keita and Nunez which helps their case to be cautious They are quite happy to stay around Top 4 and keep the asset growing with daft world tours whilst spending the least they can - it’s like Arsenal 20 years ago

From what I’ve seen of the lad and I admit it’s not much but he looks a right player. With milli vanilli coming in the summer as well that would be 2 Georgians in the squad they could help each other settle. I know he plays predominantly on the left but could be a long term replacement for salah. Similar profile to salah when we signed him. I could see him as a left footer cutting in from the right hand side

As usual, your take makes 100% sense. I doubt very much we'll go for Kvaratskhelia, either now or in the summer. I can't see Barca paying more than £40-50m for Diaz, and I can't see Napoli selling Kvaratskhelia for less than £70. Besides, there are other areas we desperately need to strengthen, like DM, CB, LB, RW backup, if not 1st team if Mo leaves, and no9. And of course RB if (when?) Trent leaves. LW is just not a priority, and certainly not for £70m-odd... This is simply not how FSG do business...

Here’s my take Dunk; Think FSG only get this deal done after PSG doing all the leg work and they still cannot get their number and LFC then might swoop in… I can see Chiesa being part of the deal. If Kvara comes in I think he’s replacing Diaz. I can see Nunez being moved on as well!

I have a feeling we may be looking to move on Jota, Nunez and Diaz in the summer…..or even in January if an opportunity arises……so we will be looking for forward players to come in. Also we are going to be looking for a left back centre back and a midfielder or two. Quite a busy time coming up …….oh and there is VVD, Mo and TAA To sort out as well.

as long as FSG own lfc we will never buy a player from Napoli. Their chairman makes Daniel Levy at spurs look like a push over. If Dick goes into negotiations with the typical FSG haggle tactics he'll get laughed out the room faster than suggesting they have pineapple on their pizza. I can't see it happening due to the ownership of both clubs. I'm guessing FSG are low balling Diaz. This summer could be a total mess. I've zero faith FSG will be able to resolve or replace the contract 3 let alone Diaz and god forbid we actually bolster the squad with much needed CB, LB and CDM.
