NPC Advantages: no requirements. gardevoir (life dew), burners (drifblim, arcanine), and paralyzers (bellibolt, umbreon, and dudunsparce) help. sylveon (charm) and intimidators (tauros, arcanine, staraptor) are more helpful than usual because their attack debuffs combine with breaking swipe to put a bigger dent in sceptile's attack, aided by taunt.
Strategy: taunt, 2x breaking swipe, taunt, 2x breaking swipe, rest + heal cheer when HP gets very low. 6x bulk up, terastalize, breaking swipe until shield breaks, taunt, breaking swipe to victory.
Pros: supereffective tera type matching base type, excellent HP, atk, and defs stats. outspeeds sceptile before it uses dragon dance, resists leaf storm, leaf blade, and thunder punch. taunt prevents sceptile from using dragon dance for 3 turns and can be used while shield is down. bulk up buffs 1 atk stage and 1 def stage. rest heals full HP bar. breaking swipe has 60 base power, 100 accuracy, and deals supereffective STAB (tera-boosted when terastalized) damage. it also lowers atk 1 stage, which counteracts the atk buffs that sceptile gets from dragon dance, especially when taunted. covert cloak prevents those same atk debuffs from happening to koraidon when sceptile uses breaking swipe.
Cons: weak to breaking swipe, and the typing invites it, making covert cloak a hard requirement and preventing use of shell bell or metronome. outsped by sceptile after it uses dragon dance once
