Good production as always i would say. Sadly our german gravel pits are much less in features than yours. Very low stocked, massive fish, but hard to localize. 50ft might be the average depth, but i know spots double that deep.

And what do you do in 60ft depth? Fished today a spot that is 60ft and continues beyond 80ft! Find the flat? Fish the slope? Fish the margins at 16ft 2 rod lengths out? Rocky, heavy stone clean water.
@Matthewsafc86 Жыл бұрын
So what about when you first get there you get markers out find a spot pop float up bring it back to the lead clip up and reel on wrap it up say thirteen wraps would you then do your fishing rods the same surely tho if you cast marker pop float up then bring it back to lead clip it up reel in and recast it’s going to be shorted than your first cast with marker due to the swing back in deep water

@callumjackson86137 жыл бұрын
Carpking71 I think you're referring to the plastic/rubber 'D'. This is an easier way to fish the 'D' rig. With no need to tie extravagant knots, this will allow more anglers to fish this rig.

Completely agree but it's the fish weight that matters these days, even if it's mainly fat. If a hypothetical lakes main selling point was ridik fighting lean particle powered 25 pounders and another lake had fat pellet munching 26 pounders, anglers would choose the second lake everytime.
