🙁Unfortunately, I'm histamine intolerant. So, drinking alcohol is never a good idea for me.🙅‍♀️ Even if I drink only half a glass of wine or beer or hard lemonade, my face immediately starts to get really flushed, and my body temperature rises unbearably🥵 until my hands, neck and face start to itch and I feel like I have to get up and leave. Hard liquor is the worst! Usually, it starts with the aforementioned symptoms and ends with a pounding headache and projectile vomit!🤮 this all happens violently and fast! I once drank a whole glass of wine while staying at my aunt's house for dinner. Naturally, I didn't feel well, so I excused myself from the table around 8 pm that night, crawled into bed, and I slept unmoved until 3 pm the next day! So, no social drinking for me. I've been deemed "no fun" by friends, family, and strangers and am the forever designated driver.

I'm Afrikaans from South Africa. Drinking here is pretty chill. I don't think many people care if you drink, or if you don't. My family are very responsible as well, and never made alcohol taboo or overhyped it. So I almost view it as just a beverage. My dad and I enjoy some whiskey or rum on the weekends with a braai. Otherwise, I'll drink until I've had enough at a party. If I'm having a meal by myself that pairs well with an acohol, then I'll drink too. It is what it is 🤷‍♀

Hey guys, Im a Saffa like Brandon and just like him I don't give a rats behind about drinking solo at home. I stick to beer only though, my mixing days are long gone.

I don't know if I'll ever understand drinking. I've never been drawn to it, and for the most part, when I've tried alcoholic drinks, I haven't liked them. I've somehow managed to also surround myself with a lot of people who don't drink. And the country I'm from (Israel) doesn't have much of a drinking culture. When I went back to visit relatives a year ago, I don't remember seeing a single person drinking, and no one ever offered me a drink. It makes me think that if I ever lived in Korea, I'd end up being very lonely 😄.
