@@김민석-d2m3g Not at all. Anyone that does ANYTHING to children, should pay the ULTIMATE price. That said, I am not surprised that there were many "teachers" on that site, paying to watch children be hurt. After years of being abused by the children that they are there to educate, teachers grow to HATE kids. Although, when they started teaching, many of those same said teachers, got into education because they really did care about children, but the children beat that right out of the teachers. Have you seen the crap that teachers have to deal with now??? I'm sorry, but I can't stand kids of today. They have no respect for ANYONE, and I'm sure that after years and years of being shit on and tortured by their students, some of those teachers have fantasies of torturing those same students. Not saying it's right, but I am not surprised in the least...

The silence has to stop. The best advice I've heard, is to tell kids, "if someone is having you do things that make you uncomfortable, just let me know and I'll take care of it, so it stops. Even it they threaten you or hurting the family, I've got secret ways they don't know to make it stop." Or something like that since the kids are being manipulated by guilt and shame already. The main thing is to get them to tell parents or police or someone who can protect them.

It's a numbers game. People can't become famous just because they want to. Look at how many try and fail; hundreds of thousands, out of billions, just shouting into the void, never gaining audiences. The same concept applies here. There's thousands of crimes that happen every single day. You have extremely limited manpower, page space, and air time. How do you know which ones to dig into? Which ones lead to a network of a quarter million pedophiles , and which are just isolated DVs or SAs. Which ones are most worthy of researching and publishing. If we, as humans, had limitless time and resources, perhaps we could cover them all. If our audiences had limitless time and attention, perhaps they might view them all. But we don't have limitless anything.

If it makes you feel any better, first of all, it's a game of averages. There are so many people and videos that even if I were to have a video of me filmed and leaked, it'd be in a sea of porn. It wouldn't get noticed. Secondly, think about how you would react if a friend had his/her stuff leaked. You would not judge them. You would know they were a victim, and you'd love them and feel sorry for them, and you'd hate the person who did that to them. So if you would react that way, then the people who you love and care about would react the same way IF anything about you got leaked. Which is a big, big IF.

@@mannou38 all i can say, is that is not how it was reported here. in the first place there's only around 44,500 men who teach in elementary schools in the whole country. so i'm not sure where she got this stat. from, or if those people in the chat are truly verified or just claiming to work in schools... or if these are people in the room in foreign countries? but in korean news this was a huge case, as you can imagine. there was a lot of information shared about the profiles of the members in these rooms to try to compile like a "this is the sort of person to look out for" sort of thing, only there were no common enough traits. no one job or occupation, no one religion or sexual orientation, no one generation or age group, that seemed to be "more" than any others. even things like single, married, divorced, were all exposed. as i said, maybe korean media was not fully honest as often they are not, but korean citizens are some of the best sleuths there are & all those that were exposed were very mixed occupations... & all the higher ups had very well paying jobs; elementary schools don't pay very well.

안녕하세요. As a Korean woman, I am very grateful that you made a video on this topic. Dating violence and murder are very serious in Korea. When women refuse to sleep with their boyfriends or husbands, or say they want the relationship with them to end, they kill or assault women. Even if a woman refuses to flirt with a man, they get caught up in anger, threatening and killing women. This problem is very serious. Please make a video about this. I feel really scared. + Additional) Since most of the perpetrators of the Nth Room have not been arrested, deepfake crimes have occurred again in Korea now. The scale is 220,000, and it's a crime of insulting and threatening the faces of mothers, sisters, friends, and women you don't know with deepfakes. Nevertheless, Korean men rather mock and laugh at women who are afraid of deepfake crimes. The government will not punish the perpetrators even though this crime has become a very important issue. And I know that in a few months, there will be another similar type of sex offense. This will continue to repeat itself. 220,000 is about the same number as the number of taxis in Korea. It's disgusting that the probability of meeting 220,000 people who participated in deepfake crimes is similar to the probability of meeting a taxi on the road. ++++++ I just want to say. If you are a woman, don't visit Korea. Even with the exception of deepfake and Nth Room problems, basically every women's bathroom in Korea has so many small cameras hidden. Korean men capture images of women spending personal time in toilets and share them on illegal sites. And accessing the illegal site is very easy. A lot of men see it. There will be cameras hidden in most public toilets. This is by no means a small-scale crime. I swear. Sadly, because of the government's neglect, this problem has gone unaddressed and has been going on for over a decade. I'm not lying.

Korea's women may have rights but at the end of the day, they are "just" women, just like in any other patriarchal society. the men rule. while it has gotten generally better over the years in some places in Asia, there are still many places that don't have many or most of the privileges you may have in your country. count yourself lucky. and please keep this in mind if any of your lady friends say they're oppressed. give them a smack up the head for me, thank you.

@@TheJissouShop fun fact, having two loving parents of any gender drastically lowers the risk a child will end up in the justice system. Two moms, two dads, more than two parents. So the generalization could be that children raised by more than one loving parent are less likely to be incarcerated. Additionally, sometimes it is better for the father to stay away from the child. So technically a child doesn't need a father. Just more than one loving parent. I know that's nit-picking, but it is a pet peeve of mine. Source: I am a Criminal Justice major

We need to encourage and inspire men to aspire to be good. If we, as women, turn our backs to all them out of suspicion that "all men are the same", then that's going to be breeding ground for depravity. And, also, it's not fair either. Imagine if men treated all women as gold diggers, cheaters and users... People need to be judged by their character, not by their gender. Good luck, out there! First, I'm so sorry for what you went through and I'm sure this brought up that trauma for you. Yeah, I work in Tactical Medical training and active threat response training, I've seen 1000s of hours of some of the worst violent attacks and mass violence moments in history. I have become pretty hardened to this stuff we watch to design realistic scenarios to better prepare first responders for the worst day on the job, the call no responders ever want to hear come over the radio. I have watched some of those while eating and took notes. . This.... I don't have words for these horrific actions nor the number of monsters capable of being part of this. I'm typing this to see if I was the only one who was physically ill listening to this. It's a boiling anger and visceral response to this. I actually had to stop listening for a few mins at 48 mins to regroup. Violence I've seen and actually experienced myself is horrible. This is a whole new level of darkness I knew happened but to this scope and scale. I never imagined it was this pervasive. I know I'm rambling but this is jarring to hear and know childern endured this. Death is to kind to the monsters who would do or consume this. I'm shaking thinking what I would do if this was my family. I understand violence for good to protect others from monsters and I also can wrap my head around violence from the evil person that will act upon another for money, mental illness or even gang stuff. But this, WTF. There is no processing that can make me understand a monster who could do this. This is the most dark, grotesque stuff I've ever heard in my life. I know SA survivors, I've cleaned the blood of the attackers blood (from fighting back and beating him up badly) from her house of a person close to me so she could come back to her house after her r#pe kit and this still has be fcked up. Like bordering on a panic attack fcked up. Sorry for the rambling disjointed comment. I needed to get this off my chest. This is just fcked. I don't know what else to say.

There is a difference between showing empathy and then feeling GUILTY for something he had nothing to do with. Most of them are 'ordinary' guys with normal jobs, families, etc and nobody would suspect that they could be getting off on watching children being used and tortured. To what effect? Complete surveillance? You can't possibly want every single one of your messages read, every image looked at. Because that's the only way filtering would work. "Looked at" may also be by some program, which would be less creepy but more prone to wrongly accusing people.

@@stephaniecobian725 I mean, along with the absolutely awful housing prices and work culture, yeah? It's an extreme exaggeration to say its purely because women are striking on pregnancy. A quick google search shows the amount of women formally participating in the "4b movement" is not that high in reality. Economic factors have historically always been the deciding argument in major social movements. But at the end of the day, the country killing itself off only hurts everyone involved. When men and women in Korea realize their workforce is older and weaker, people are getting more lonely and unhealthy, etc. they'll all change their tunes real quick.

Im a Korean woman. I found out about the telegram through the news, but this is the first time actually learning about the severity and the indepth stories about it. When internet crimes like this is getting worse and worse, what comes next? These disgusting psycopathic animals are always starved for more gorey, more violent, more inhumane contents and nothing ever satisfied them enough. The next step from this is more severe crimes in physical form. People say the world is safer than ever for women, but with news like this, can you really confidently say your daughter, your sister, your girlfriend everyone including your mother is safe? Even your newborn babies. People's natural instinct is wanting to reject that this is reality because its so gruesome. @Kopie0830 I don't think this is a 'Korean' problem. Yes we do have cultural issues but this has more to do with 'evil people' than race per se. Evil people exist everywhere but rise of immorality and lack of human decency is kind of an ongoing problem in any developing countries, and the internet just makes it way easier for people in general to do crimes&evil acts behind the screen. We also all have access to these news and information, so it seems like its more prominent when human beings in general were always doing evil things. This is like scratching the surface of whats really going on in the world of internet atm...Cp,blackmailing, darkweb they are no joke. Last thing we want to do is make this a cultural problem rather than really getting to the root of the problem. If you track down users of these contents & criminals, they're all over the world that uses internet.

They disregarded it to the point that he figured no one would get in trouble and he started a large room himself and started victimizing ppl for money. In the end, it was revealed that the reason why the police would not move on this, no matter how many people came to them, was because high up police officers were in these rooms as customers.
