I’ve been saddened lately seeing the direction that K-pop and Kdramas are going. Getting too suggestive and more Westernized. That’s why I left American entertainment to come to a more conservative Korea. But this video makes me feel more encouraged that so many Korean actors and singers are people of faith. Me too! I also stopped watching western entertainment as it became so vulgar, especially when God was mocked. I truly love how often these Korean celebrities do not hide their faith but embrace it. I also enjoy seeing a few Drama's make Christianity a good thing. Also, to see so many of the kpop boys embrace and show their faith is the absolute most heartwarming thing to see. ❤

@@juahl Christianity in itself is a good thing. It's Christians who are mean and not Christlike that make people see it as a bad thing/mock it. Wish more Christians would stop being so sensitive about their religion being mocked and focus on how they can weed out the bad Christians that make them look bad or at least be louder than them. If Christians practiced Christianity as it was intended(and not used to control/hurt/judge people) no one would have mocked it in the first place. Christian history sucks because of crappy Christians hurting people unfortunately

The way, which Jesus and many others showed us. People don't realise that it's a beautiful thing to believe in Jesus' teachings, and to believe in the Creator. There’s a difference between being religious and having a relationship with God. I was briefly into a k pop group and one of them was “Christian” but his actions did not align with the faith. I won’t discredit none of them bc I don’t know their relationship, but if they’re not l loving God with all their heart, soul strength and mind which means honoring and following His statues and commandments then it means nothing if they “call” themselves Christians. God is so loving so I pray each and every one of them submits themselves to Christ.

I'm a little confused how you can tell an actor is Christian by their acting. Unless you mean to say they only pick super clean roles with little to no kissing or swearing? If so, I'm still a little confused. I can't speak for the language, as I don't know Korean... nor can I speak for every role all those actors have played. And I'm also not judging them... But I know for a fact Lee Minho has done some suggestive kissing/bed scenes (like in King: The Monarch)... mostly very tame, and classy compared to Hollywood... But I also know he had a role in Pachinko on AppleTV which I think is rated M. I haven't seen it, but a quick KZbin search tells me at some point he takes clothing off a woman's shoulders to kiss her neck, and I can only assume they do more. Therfore, I can't tell anything about him from the roles he takes.... and it IS called acting.

I have heard Jo In Sung, Park BoGum, So Yi Hyon, and many others praising and thanking God at Acting Awards Cerremonies. My Korean friens told me that Huyn Bin and Cha In Pyo are also Protestant Christians. I thought perhaps Son Ye Jin too.. Ye Jin I was told was a name given to many Christian baby girls.. it means Jesus' precious germ. Kim Jung Hyun also answered many times during interviews that Bible is the first thing he needs if he is deserted on an island.

A lot of so-called fans want them to lose their faith, but you have to wonder why? If these actors are telling you that being Christian has helped them mentally and in their overall lives, why would that anger you? Everyone experiences the goodness of God, every day that we wake up and live, but only those who seek God, experience his presence and it is life changing. This is coming from someone who has been through many hardships, including the worst (losing my mom). I thank God that there are Korean artist and actors who love Jesus ❤❤

It is good to pray for all actors and artists, even if they are not Christian. The conversion and salvation of all souls is what God wants. Jesus died for all of us who are sinners. Artists and actors are in need of the love and mercy of Christ as much as any of us. Maybe even more so. The entertainment industry is so difficult to work in, and working within it is taxing on the soul. Working behind the scenes; this is something i have had to reflect on myself. It is hard to pursue this career and not be in near occasion of sin, both directly and indirectly. And by indirectly i mean, the sin of scandal. May our love for God and neighbour be greater than all of our Earthly aspirations and desires.

I don't know about the other actors but I believe Park Bo Gum is a Christian by actions. Have you watched "Young Actor's Retreat? It's a reality show where some of the Korean actors participated. There was a moment when the actors took dinner and everyone was enjoying their meal, Park Bo Gum was the only person to treat the people who were filming them. I think this action really represents him. And in general Park Bo Gum has very bright and kind energy. So I tend to believe what was said in the video about him is true.

I don't know about your video claims of these actors being Christian, some are in fact true while some are questionable?? I googled some as well and Cha Eunwoo has never revealed his religious beliefs at all, and Ji Chang Wook has videos saying he is Buddhist? So, this contradicts to your video's research and claims, to add on you have no video reference or article reference to back up the statements some of their religious beliefs. But more importantly, Christian or not, having religious beliefs or not, I hope people do not just start supporting others base on their claim of faith. Everyone deserves love and respect for the good honest work they put in their lives, the world or society, but do not start believing that they are good or humble just because of their title, 'Christian'. Many Christians practice what they preached against, some believe in horoscopes prediction more than God, some even relies on fortune telling. It's all lip service you do not know them behind closed doors, which is what Jesus calls out that many call Him, Lord and claim to do His work but He will tell them to go away for He never knew them. So, believe them through their works and what they show to you. Now I am not claiming that all these actors are lying about their faith I am just advising you all to listen and watch the media news with caution because many of them are written in a way to have trigger a reaction from the audience, negative or positive they do not care, especially in the media industry some will do anything to get the viewership up and fame.
