Eat Your Kimchi looks so relaxing. Now being a modern bath house it doesn't seem like there was a problem with having tattoos but is there usually a problem in other Jjimjilbangs even if they are also upscale?

It's not Polish, sorry to break it to you. We do that as well in Bulgaria. It's part of the orthodox tradition here (or pagan, if you take into account Easter's pagan origin).

NoirDesire yeah I didn't think so things like this are usually common around Eastern Europe but it is still a part of Polish tradition and Simon was talking about it in the context of a Polish Easter so it totally applies to Polish club

I came here after a week of backpacking Korea via train and had the most epic shower/bath/jjimjilsesh! It was winter and getting stuck in hostels where the boiler didn't work (and not getting to shower for fear of freezing) made the visit to spaland that much sweeter. AHHH SPALAND...how I love you... and miss you ㅠ_ㅠ..

i feel like i've commented this on here before. hah. deja vu much. but i just have to say it again after rewatching. fav thing about swedish spa is the 4 degree pool right outside the sauna. no sauna is complete without freeze numbing water. it's the best. don't even need the sauna just dip in it between pools and step into every one like a new experience. switching between the spa and adventure bath sections doesn't even matter. all other water will seem nice in comparison. heck just stepping into it just to feel the inside air afterwards and not be freezing. ooo. love me some cold water.

So my local Korean spa provides all the soaps and such ( I still bring my own) and there is a tub where you can soak in jasmine tea! It is HEAVEN, there is a regular spa for nails and massages or body scrubs and a water park with slides and a lazy river, I spend at least 10 hours when I go. Also Simon, we have an "ice room" that is -1c , it's my favorite.

So i recently moved to Busan and as i comment, i am sitting in SpaLand. I saw this video when it first came out and havent since but when i came here i didnt realize this was it. But i had a sense of deja vu and a lot of the areas seemed weirdly familiar. Then i attempted to make a sheep head and thats when i remembered your video... but i still wasnt a 100% sure it was the same place. So i came to rewatch the video and confirm. And l and behold, its the same place. cant believe i live only a couple subway stops away. And once again, thanks simon and martina foe inspiring to start my own adventure here in korea❤

Wow this video would've been so helpful when we went to Korea a few weeks ago. We went to our first jjimjilbang and it was nothing like the one you went to but then again yours is probably more "swanky". Those hot rooms are insanely hot and when we first entered we had no idea what those mini lockers were for and literally standing there like "um how are we gonna fit all out stuff in these tiny lockers?" Then we realized it was for shoes. Lol. Another great video guys! :)

@thesiiiiickest
@thesiiiiickest 9 жыл бұрын
Regene McTornth This is exactly the kind of bath house you're thinking! Before they met up in the co-ed area with mats, massage chairs, and sauna rooms, men and women go through their respective bath houses where they get completely naked and wash themselves in a communal open space! Obvi can't film that part haha but yea it's basically a giant wet room with dozens of shower heads, hot tubs, cold tubs, and naked strangers haha
@RoxanneJ81

thesiiiiickest I think Regene is talking about an old slang word. Back in the '70s, "bath house" was a spa that gay men visited to find people to have sex with.

There's a spa near where I live called King Spa and it's in the same style as in this video, except the area is smaller But it does work the same exact way and I've only gone once but I really miss it and would love to go again

I just want to get something off my chest. I spent a lot of time in the past 2 years watching your videos, every one of your live streams, even at 5am,I read your blog posts and your tweets. I even got so sad when you came to Europe and didn't visit London. But i still loved you guys, your videos use to be so fun, it always made me happy. I visited your KZbin page every hour to check if you uploaded. Your KMM was how I found you, and it was what even got me and most of my friends into Kpop. I loved every video and appreciated all the time and hard work you put into them. I just feel like it's not the same anymore, and it makes me sad because I really did spend a lot of time supporting you and just seeing how you gave up on the KMM which probably more than half of your fans loved doesn't make sense. You have absolutely no content related to Kpop whatsoever, it was nice when u had a balance of Kpop related content and Korean culture related content. I still love and support you just like the rest of your fans that are still supporting you, I just wanted to voice my opinion on this because it really made me sad how I'm just not as excited about your videos as I use to be.

got2many i understand that what I said sounds bad, it's just honestly what I feel, I'm still supporting them that's why as a fan I'm letting them know how I feel. I understand that Kpop is not their main content but it was one of the reasons I loved them so much. that's what I meant by a balance, as well as getting all the fun from the KMM videos they would make informative videos such as TL;DRs to inform us about korean culture and their experiences. and what i mean by fun i'm not saying they are not fun, its just the way they discussed K-pop and it was so fun getting involved and voting our favourite group and all the jokes and songs they made about K-pop, it was like a whole culture and they put a lot of effort into making all the characters and actually having K-pop stars involved like interviews and they use to make contests where we could win albums. and they use to make K-indie content too. yes I do also enjoy their informative videos such as the TL;DRs and FAP FAPs which inform us about Korean culture and Korean food but I just noticed that once they stopped the KMM and how they only post like 2 videos a week, for me personally it's just not the same, and that's my opinion. and i have read that the crazy Kpop fans had something to do with the stop of KMM but EYK never made that very clear, so i was just left waiting for them to upload a KMM thinking that it was just a break till i gave up on any hope of them uploading a KMM. Anyway, call me a bad fan for being biased with Kpop content :/

mary b yeah all of that was fun. it's too bad that the fanatics ruined it for the rest of us but be grateful that EYK is still around and doing other videos. I wish they still did interviews as well. hopefully when all the hate has died down they will come back. you're not a bad fan but you are being too biased. when you're too biased it clouts your judgment. things change and nothing last forever and EYK probably wants to do other things as well. I respect your opinion and you were very nice about it. i just don't understand when people make similar opinions like yours and unsubscribe because of no kpop. some people take it too seriously.
