That's usually a TV thing. In real life in a situation like this, guys generally don't have that jealousy thing. There is no merit to making others look bad. Even something like the types of videogames someone plays and how they go about playing them says a lot about someone. Granted, not everything. The hints they provide are mostly just there to be able to see some traits or just general personality. For me taste is most important. You are judging who you would let win based off their dish not as a food thing but a personality/anesthetic thing. Which is interesting but since she is a chef herself she will also find tasteful dishes the most appealing such as 99% of the population. Going for taste over aesthetics. Even though in this instance the cold rice dish was the most appealing visually and tastiest. Your answer to me is odd because I suppose that is most like general public when it comes to how others are seen. Judging someone based off their appearance rather than their character. It seems like an odd correlation but it is almost the same to me. Choosing a dish based on how it looks rather than it tastes. 🤷🏽♂️😭🤣

A young woman's mind is a very confusing place and they themselves don't even know what drives the final reasoning a lot of the time, just that "it is the way it is". She liked the 2nd guy because she is clearly a woman who wants to be directed and lead in a relationship, she states as much numerous times in a different number of ways in this video. He presented a dish HE was confident is good - regardless of her tastes or bias or not - and essentially "told" her to drink [this] with it. In comparison the second guy gave her a ton of stuff, and most importantly, gave her two other things (one of which was repeated on the plate) to "choose" or "do whatever" with, which didn't hit her notes as much. Even though he's just as thoughtful as the former and probably a better provider in this respect, it was the selfish confidence of the 2nd that won a girl like her over.
@SquishyBauBau2 жыл бұрын
@@ashryver3605 But if you're judging a guy from how he dresses, or judging him how he makes his food it's a bit entitled to do so as well as just being rude. Some rich people wear normal clothes but expensive shoes, because they don't care to wear expensive clothing when all it is is material and fabric. A lot of people have there own reasons to dress the way they do, some make a type of food how they like, and everyone has there own way. I find it stupid how you can look at a plate of food and judge someone on how they act, what they wear esc, it's astoundingly stupid.
@Xineal2 жыл бұрын
@@ashryver3605 " she is clearly a woman who wants to be directed and lead in a relationship" I don't think that's what she meant - when you're served a dish you want to know the person who's cooking it is trying to demonstrate something about themself. The way I see it Guy 2 gave her one option because he was confident it was his best recipe and it demonstrated his experience with not just the kitchen, but a cultural staple with which the Master Chef obviously has a ton of emotional connection to. Guy 3 giving a ton of rice and 2 styles of egg demonstrates both an inexperience with the dish and an uncertainty that what he actually prefers/is skilled in will be enough to impress her - giving her no impression at all except that he's indecisive. Like she said, she appreciates the versatility and variety, but that there's a time and place for it.

Add the finely chopped kimchi right into the bacon fat (add garlic if you like powerful garlic flavor). 3. Add a little bit of butter. 4. Turn off the heat. 5. Add the rice with little bit more butter and mix. (give it a taste and see if you need to add salt). 6. Cook over easy egg and put it on top of your kimchi fried rice. 7. Drip tiny droplets of sesame oil and sesame seeds. (Throw on some chopped green onions if you like green onions).

I'm telling you right now they thought they were getting three guys to fight over a girl, but actually just hooked three guys up to become best mates, yo So supportive of each other. Proper wingmen material there

Forget the dating part of all this, it would be so much fun to try and rate people’s dishes. And vote for Korean BBQ next. Yum!

Omg I love Zay. He is adorable. Dude I would date you if nobody chooses you. You're exactly like me when I spoil my friends🤣 so much effort and so much thought placed into one. HAHAHA just one whole "I JUST WANT TO LOVE YOU" yelling in one plate lol. I understand the scream and the effort in the backend of the story lololol. I just can't help laughing at everything. But the other guys and all was nice as well.

All three guys were cool in their own ways. But third! Damn, so funny and you can see he tries extra hard. Not a perfect kimchi fried rice. But he literally made more because I think he wanted her to have what she likes. Such a sweet and caring man!

@@ItsUzele ? Can't tell if sarcasm or misunderstanding but if sarcasm: obviously I didn't try it but based on the way it was described (both by him and Ahran) it sounded right up my alley and I also thought it looked like something I would enjoy the most

Lots of comments say the guys are so respectful of one another and kind-- I think that's just a South Korean thing lol. I have never ever met a disrespectful or rude Korean they're just awesome people. It's probably a good childhood family balance. Also Korean food fudging SLAPS if you've never had it.

If your significant other can cook something delicious hold on to him. And vice versa. My boyfriend doesn't cook gourmet meals but still cooks for me and it's delicious. I actually made him Korean fried rice with chicken and dakgalbi a separate time ( taught by a very nice young lady in South Korea) and he said it was good! He's very hard to please too! And when I got to visit South Korea I found a frozen kimchi fried rice that tasted AMAZING. as well as a regular frozen fried rice that was delicious 😭 Frozen food in the us is rarely as good

This was great fun, I love light-hearted tests like this; they're often deceptively trivial and nuggets of wisdom and psychological insight are dropped in when you least expect it. Good stuff!
