I'm an atheist myself, and I take a blessing and a prayer as an act of kindness and affection. I'm ok with people believing in whatever they want as long as it brings them peace and helps them be kinder with one another. My only problem is with people shoving their beliefs in other people's throats, sometimes aggressively, don't force it please. I loved the Rabbi, he was very respectful with the atheist, and overall such a cool dude.

From what I've read online, which was confirmed by a Korean friend, the Talmud is actually studied in some Korean circles. The New Yorker did an article on it in 2015, "Lee Kyou-Hyuk, a famous speed skater who carried the South Korean flag at the 2014 Olympics, recommended the Talmud to his fans. "I read the Talmud every time I am going through a hard time," he told reporters". I don't know how widespread the practice is, and the lessons seem to then be applied/considered via a Christian lens, but as a Jewish person I think it's fascinating.

I know multiple conservative homosexuals, both couples and individuals . They are country ppl, some are Democrat, some Republican, some independent etc... Its more about how they expect themselves and others to conduct themselves in their lives and their beliefs. They arent ashamed of themselves, they don't hate the fact they are gay. They arent hiding who they are. They just have their own thoughts and opinions.

4:00 Im an atheist but Ive always found the arguments against religion that focuses on how it offers explanations for things science explain better as missing the point. The point of religion is the feeling of cosmic significance in the things you do everyday independent of other people. That even though no one will remember your name in 200 years every part of your everyday existence is meaningful. Not just to you as a person. Also Id rather have a comforting religious hallucination before I die than a nihilistic, rational one.
