The former host of Moment of Truth (Mark L. Wahlberg, not to be confused with Mark Walhberg) quit the show because he thought it was too cruel. There was a case where a guy killed his wife because of the show. You can't imagine how insane the questions were. Believe it or not, there were questions way worse than these.

@Vincisomething Жыл бұрын
@Jesus Zamora Oh, you have no idea how wild the questions got lol. I recommend Cody Ko's reaction because he also interviewed Mark (and I think he's funny). The questions get increasingly worse and usually end up exposing a lot of the person. But one question not in the video (I briefly looked it up after hearing it mentioned in a video) was if they thought their dad had sexual relations with a minor. Also, the jarring (almost hilarious) thing is the audience cheering and clapping after the contestants admit to something horrendous. It was like early 2000s reality TV had no rules and people just wanted content. I can only imagine Milf Manor in 2000

The worst part is that in the last clip it shows there are men out there like the one in the clip that should be the leading example of what a father is and should be. But we got all these deadbeats running around that are just sperm donors. The poor man is willing to be a father to those children and loves those kids dearly. But the mom over there just standing there like it’s no big deal. Smh.
@fallendevonish1869
@fallendevonish1869 Жыл бұрын
The problem is that the dead beats are 6ft plus and that's who women want to sleep with, thus those guys have more options and don't have to be loyal, while a short guy like the one in the clip despite what some women will say are the type to be used by women who have been on the roundabout and have kids and are looking for someone to take care of them, or a woman in her 30's who in her 20's would not touch a short guy on her dating app but after many failures with those 6ft plus guys is looking for a short beta male to pay the bills, but eventually after time her desire for the 6ft plus guys will come back around.

My country also had the polygraph show years ago. It ruined 3 families just through small secrets and the show only lasted for 3 days before it was cancelled. Just 3 episodes. People who had a dark past shouldn't have been on it, but they were because of the money. The questions weren't even that bad, but our country is humble and kind in general and frowns upon the opposite, so it was a national outrage and they gave up airing the show.

@Pumpkin0_0
@Pumpkin0_0 5 ай бұрын
@@Kbinger06 Many of the questions were like: "Have you ever imagined your father dying?" (The woman's father was old, but alive and quite wealthy) And she said yes. People were outraged, when in actuality everyone has imagined their parent or parents dying. They didn't ask if it was because of the inheritance or because she was afraid of losing her father. She said she loved her father while everyone was booing her, but the audience didn't care. They immediately assumed it was because of an inheritance. The darkest things were not liking the in-laws or no longer having as many feelings for a significant other as they used to. Like I mentioned in the main comment, my country is fairly peaceful and we put ourselves in each other's shoes. Of course downright criminals wouldn't participate, and the show was cut very short. lol
@Kbinger06
@Kbinger06 5 ай бұрын
@Pumpkin0_0 Hon, none of this is what I was referring to, whether or not these questions you brought up were on the show. I was commenting on the comments about how "The show destroyed families," saying did the show really ruin families, or did the people bring it on themselves with their actions and the show just exposed it. I was basically pointing out to those people in the comments that the show wasn't at fault. It just didn't cover up their deceit, and it was all aired out 😆👌

I think family fued could work in Korea. The questions asked would be decided by producers in Korea and the people surveyed would also be Korean so both the questions asked and the survey answers would fit cultural norms and sensibilities and the contestants would also br Korean so their answers to the questions would also fit cultural norms and and the host would also be korean so would act to cultural norms and tastes so viewer's of the show should also be fine with it and not find it offensive or outside the norm for the culture. Paternity court my have a problem finding people to be on it because of the culture in Korea. So that one couldn't have a local version but the show itself while on the "scandalous" side (culturally speaking for korea) could maybe make for good late night watching for the younger adults (if they like "relationship drama").

I see this is a couple months back but to clarify. To compensate people for the possibility of public embarrassment on national tv, they pay the people who agree to show up and do the show. That in itself, in several ways, shows you where peoples priorities lie. Even if it has the chance of ruining your life; so many accept the money. Not sure how much is paid these days but before the year 2000, I recall some shows offering up to $12,000. These days, that would only get me through three months of living.

@@icydsting6037 Yeah. They give shows too much seasons. Korea actually has a good way of doing it. Its very rare when a show has more than one season. In US the problem is that if show is successful companies will try to drag the show out as much as they can even if the story is basically finished. Like show Dexter got messed up because original director was done with the show but higher ups wanted more seasons so they got a new director and show started going downhill very fast. Only Korea show I can name who I have seen who did the same was Taxi Driver. Second season sucked because they visibly had nothing to tell anymore.

These days I never watch TV for this reason, I can’t relate or understand why a lot of the content is allowed for broadcast. I think initially these shows were aired because of their shock value, which means at one time in the USA, these stories weren't normal or common and producers knew people would want to tune in to see these people, like watching a circus or animals in a zoo. Eventually, though, as more and more people came on these shows, Americans began to be used to these types of shows and it became normal.

That episode of The Moment of Truth is written in Wikipedia: "On the fifth episode, which aired on February 25, 2008, over the course of play, a female contestant, Lauren Cleri, truthfully admitted that: she had been fired for stealing money from an employer; she believed that her ex-boyfriend (who was present, and asked this question) is the man she should be married to; and that, since her wedding day two years earlier, she had sexual relations with someone other than her husband, NYPD Officer Frank Cleri. After truthfully admitting to these actions, with her mother staring furiously at her and her husband sitting with his head in his hands, she was eliminated for answering "yes" on the question of whether she believed she is a good person. The intro of this episode featured a disclaimer by host Mark L. Walberg, in which he claimed it was highly debated whether or not the episode should even be aired and he was against it being aired, calling it the most uncomfortable situation he has ever been in on television. The contestant, who could have stopped and left with $100,000 based on her already dramatic revelations, later said that she continued trying to win more money in order to achieve "fame and fortune"." Now, as of 2015, Lauren Cleri has no immediate jobs for her and a possible divorce in the future. "We're kind of up in the air right now - I want to [get back together], but I don't think he does," Lauren Cleri told the New York Post. "It's not very easy to overcome," Frank Cleri, a cop with the 48th Precinct in The Bronx, told the Post.

I believe that the discussion you are having right now with your peers about politics, fashion, even sex. Your parents or older relatives may have had also. Get over the fear of embarrassment and have a candid discussion with them you might be surprised at their opinion on thing or even knowledge.

I wanna see reactions to the Jerry Springer Show since Jerry Springer died last month. A talk show with fights, weird people, and infidelity.

I love that the korean culture is still conservative and family oriented. The parents of the girls should be proud of their parenting skills. They seem such lovely girls.

That Polygraphy show should have been continued. Many hoes out there cheating on partners while reeling their money. Better to get rid of them ASAP from your life.
