THIS is why people love Maangchi. Such generosity of spirit and drive to inform. Maangchi rocks!
@jaitsadi-gee3 жыл бұрын
It's certainly ONE of the reasons. Another one is that her recipes are SO GOOD, and she spells it out so that ANYbody can make a delicious Korean dish, or meal! :)
@bollymashup51362 жыл бұрын
Not to inform, but to show off as if Korean cuisine and culture is the best in the world. In her other video when she spotted the Korean curry powder, she mentioned "Indian readers gave a hard time" as they said "we thought it's Indian curry". I mean, what's the hard time she is pointing here. Just viewers or readers out of curiosity would have asked. 🙄

Sometimes I find it's easier to ask other shoppers in the same section than store staff! I knew I was finally comfortable when I was complaining to my partner about the expensive price of soy sauce, saying this other market had a lower price and a Korean grandmother started nodding along. We got into a good convo about best places to buy bottled sauces 🤣

I'm so thrilled by your nice comments! My goal is to help you shop at a Korean grocery store comfortably. Now that all my grocery store walkthrough videos are uploaded, I can share my delicious recipes from my next video! Be ready to cook yummy foods soon. : ) Can you believe Polish and German captions were already submitted by our volunteer translators? So fast like flashlights! Thank you very much! Their credits are in the description box. If they have their own KZbin channel, let's encourage them by subscribing to them. Now English, Polish, and German captions are available. If you want to translate some captions into your language, you can do it here. kzbin.info_video?v=ph1ev8vKxJc

YES Maangchi, please make more shopping instructional videos for other Korean products, when you can! Cookies, snacks, bakery items, cooking tools, appropriate gift items for holidays and special occasions/events, best way to season or use clay/stone pots for 1st time use, are just some suggestions. I'm really curious how I can tell if one dried chili powder is hotter than another before I open the container, and how to season and care for clay/stone pots. Your videos are the best and have helped me a lot to try and make delicious Korean recipes. Thank you!

I was surprised by her sharing today. In Korea, many foods and ingredients are actually shared during holidays and family events. And it is called Jung in Korean. And affection means sharing a warm heart.
