It's actually growing a lot more in Korea from what I understand. I didn't know this, but one of the members from ASTRO, MJ, and I think 4 other idols were performing in various cities to be Jamie in Everybody's Talking About Jamie, a drag musical. That musical came to Korea not too long ago and recently just finished. Idk how well it went but it seemed everyone had fun doing their parts!

Not all drag queens are dressed as "women" and even if they did that would be the definition of a drag queen. Drag is different there are drag kings too and women and non-binary people can do drag too

Just for clarity: There is a difference between Hedwig and Drag Queens. Hedwig is within the transgender spectrum - Drag Queens may or may not be. 🙂 Keep up the good work. I love seeing more Korean men learning about LGBTQ+ culture!

I think that the statement that drag queens are men is a wee bit inaccurate. There are cis men who do drag but it is also a form of expression adopted by trans women and non-binary people. Correct me if I'm wrong but based on my own acquaintances, Drag is NOT only done by men.

True. Plus drag kings are also a thing. Trans women have always been a part of drag culture so it's definitely inaccurate to say only men do drag
